Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is genuinely Paper Mario 3. Felt slightly too hard on hard difficulty (I used the tower to gain a few levels at two separate points to compensate) but overall 10/10 great writing, great gameplay, really hope we get a sequel.
Very cute game with enjoyable combat and funny characters/dialog. Def worth the hours put into the game to beat its fun story.
A great game to scratch that Paper Mario itch. It does have a few glitches but nothing that will break the game, mostly camera issues. It would be nice to see a sequel some day, but I don't think this game needs DLC of any kind.

i spent like 10 hours in one day on this game. imo the storyline and gameplay is very engaging, though some of the hitboxes were kind of rigged, i would suggest this to anyone who likes turn based RPGS
Really fun game, especially if you work corporate!
This game is the definitive spiritual successor to Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.
Escape from Ever After is a satirical anti-corporate game about fairytale storybook characters trying to band together and topple the company from within. The classic Paper Mario aesthetic was wonderful to see, the soundtrack was awesome, and the characters all were lovely additions. Genuinely no complaints I can think of. Definitely get this game if it strikes your fancy
I love the art style and playability. Some really nice accessibility features are included as well!
8.8/10, "Satisfying"! Escape From Ever After is a mix of the VERY familiar with a healthy dose of anti-corporatist humor and a few original ideas. The writing never feels forced or tired, and the game is paced very well for the most part. Character designs are charmingly used, if a little generic for good reason. Indeed, I enjoyed the story from beginning to end, though the game's finale doesn't seem like it leaves a ton of unexplored space for a sequel. I won't bemoan a book that knows when to shut, but this where I will mention what I feel is EfEE's (Escape from Ever After's) biggest weakness. It doesn't go far enough. Its ideas are all very well executed, its identity is solid, its characters are firm. But they aren't exciting. This is fine, it's okay to have a simple story that's just enjoyable to experience. But this applies to every facet of EfEE. The scope of the game is fine, but feels like it could've gone farther, with it only having one real good "surprise" in terms of location. The mechanics of the battle system are solid and feel good, but they never had any twists that truly surprised me. In the endgame, there are also few to no NEW enemies, mostly souped-up recolors of earlier foes; this is felt most keenly in the optional "Stairs of Success". The Trinket system is satisfying, but the variety of "builds" that are possible are limited to making one or two people in your party actually do good damage, a smattering of survivability and defensive pieces, and some stuff that seems cute but entirely ineffectual. I feel like there could've been more. More enemy types, more interesting trinkets, party members with more variety. The fact that we always control Flynt all the time even starts to seem vestigial given that he can be swapped out in combat, and actually becomes detrimental when trying enter battle vs enemies with shields in the overworld. I would never say that the game seems "Half-baked", because that would be a lie, clear thought and effort has gone into every facet. But this feels like the solid laying of a foundation, and I would love to see them build something special upon it.
