Interesting game but it has (currently at time of this review) some major flaws that cause it to be a bit difficult to play. It has a memory leak in the game which causes it to slowly degrade in performance over time, severely impairing even the best PC set ups. Also once you get into the farm house, the "puzzles" don't make any sense and personally I wasn't able to get anywhere (Oh God goo and Golden Chicken Nugget obtained but couldn't reach the basement). I think this game has potential, but it needs some work before it becomes fully playable. PROS: * Interesting environments * Great sound design * Creepy monsters CONS: * Memory leak causing PC issues * No enough ammo * Game is WAY TOO DARK (even with flashlight) with no gamma correction available * Not enough save points (one in a barn which goes away after you get the farmhouse key, one inside the farmhouse that randomly disappears?) * Enemies can outrun you making it impossible to run away if you're out of ammo * Puzzles are convoluted * Map randomly disappears if you die and reload (even if you've already gotten it) https://www.seravium.com https://www.twitch.tv/seravium
I like what this game is trying to do, but I don't like how it's done. Pros:

The map is pretty spoopy.
I loved the Lovecraftian horror theme.
And some of the notes where cute and there was a demo man ref.
Cons:

Pc Performance for this game is a little rough. I struggled to get over 90fps on a 5950x cpu and a 4090.
The flashlight didn't shine far enough to see enemies before they chased. Leading to stealth not really being useful.
If the goal is limited visibility I think the enemies should be easier to loose. as you will run face first into fairly often.
I saw a maze, but it had enemies in it which could path to you. Due to limited ammo I avoided it.
The ammo for the gun wasn't the easiest to find. I missed the first ammo box for a few deaths.
There are some UI bugs, like pulling the menu up while dying leads the buttons to not be select able.
Some walls clip through other walls. Like the large fence, and the fleshy cave section. Which with a little love could be fixed.
The map is fairly empty. this game prob didn't need to be open world
I think this game has promise, but needs a little love.
I would definitely recommend this game. I've been playing for a few hours and the longer I play the more I'm able to figure out in term of navigating and progressing through the game successfully. If you're looking for something fun, spooky, and challenging this game is for you!
Once in a while a game comes along that makes you feel smarter, stronger, and capable of things you never thought possible. Is this that game? I took a break after a little bit to use the restroom, caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and you know what? The fine lines on my face had all but disappeared. Where atop my head just a few sparse grey strands usually lay, a beautiful golden mane of thick lush hair now shone. I could scarcely believe it. I played a bit more and it was like I'd been hitting the gym all my life. Another glimpse in the mirror revealed an Adonis-like physique. Was this game to thank? I returned to play some more and suddenly my vision went blurry. I thought something was wrong, that my bodily transformation had somehow cursed my eyes. I removed my glasses and was astonished to see that my vision had become clear again. I no longer needed the old spectacles, for I now seemingly had perfect 20/20 vision. Could this game do all this? I don't know. Maybe not. Maybe none of this is real. But what I do know is that this game is spooky and cheap and you can play it sitting down. That makes it alright in my book.
Fun game. Spooky vibes.
I really liked the environment and the setting of the game. Some areas actually sent shivers down my spine so well done for that. The gun play was good, wasn't amazing but did the job. I like what the idea that he was going for but does need a little more refinement. Some of the cons however is the performance, some of the best areas just ran terribly for me and dropped me down to what felt like 30 fps. overall that is my only actual con that could cause the game some issues. I would would still highly recommend playing the game, it's nice and short and scratched the spot for me. I look forward to seeing what else the developer comes up with.
Good start, at first was so scary but when discover all mechanics ez to beat. enjoyed and got all achievements
A fun and spoopy game! I like that there is enough combat to keep things interesting/challenging and so it doesn't just feel like a walking simulator. Like many indie titles, there are some bits that are rough around the edges but for me it adds to the charm, especially knowing it was primarily developed by only one person!
Very spooky/suspenseful! Resources collection (ammo) is infrequent enough to make it challenging but not so much as to be frustrating. Level design adds well to the atmosphere, large rural setting in the dark makes for lots of scary. Interesting to explore and try and figure out what is going on.
Oh god. So gooey!
