About
Epic O'clock is a comedic 2d platformer indie game made by a singular person with too much free time. In this whimsical silly wacky funny comedic and asinine adventure, you play as Senor Epic as he tries to kill Mr Stupid Idiot Guy for being tooooooo stupid!!!! Originally made for a school project, Jack overachieved by adding three times as many levels as were required and multiple cutscenes, as well as many other unnecessary features and flourishes. All art is made by a man who can't draw and all music is made by a man who can't compose. Full of references (and rip-offs) from various media, this game is sure to make you do something! Maybe even buy it???? and PLAY IT?!?!?!?! Who knows! Includes over 2 seconds of gameplay, but less than 1 gazillion (unless you're really bad)
Includes (but is not limited to)
Somewhere around 10 levels
Many cutscenes
Stupid references

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – IT'S EPIC O'CLOCK!!! I went into this game expecting a funny little indie platformer made by one person. What I got instead was a chaotic fever dream that feels like someone threw together internet humor, Saturday morning cartoons, school project energy, and the unstoppable momentum of Pizza Tower into one beautifully unhinged package. From the very first cutscene, the game makes it clear that it doesn't take itself seriously—and that's exactly why it works. Senor Epic has the same "I'm just here to get this done" energy that made Peppino so lovable. The dialogue is absurd, the jokes never stop, and every level feels like the developer asked, "Would this be funny?" and then immediately put it in the game. The movement is surprisingly satisfying. Sure, it's not trying to copy Pizza Tower one-for-one, but if you've spent hundreds of hours running at Mach speed through John Gutter, climbing the Ancient Cheese, surviving War, or desperately escaping Pizzaface during the Pizza Time sequence, you'll immediately appreciate how much personality Epic O'clock puts into simply moving around. Every jump, every enemy encounter, and every ridiculous animation has charm. Speaking of Pizza Tower... This game absolutely radiates the same philosophy that made Pizza Tower such a masterpiece: - Gameplay first. - Personality over realism. - Comedy over seriousness. - Every second should either make you laugh or make you want to keep playing. It's not pretending to be the next AAA blockbuster. Instead, it proudly embraces being weird, and somehow that makes it even more memorable. The references are another highlight. They're constant, they're shameless, and they're hilarious. Half the fun is recognizing all the little nods to games, internet culture, and random memes. It reminds me of finding all the silly details hidden throughout Pizza Tower's levels, where every room has something ridiculous waiting around the corner. The soundtrack deserves praise too. Even if the developer jokes about not being able to compose, the music fits the game's chaotic personality perfectly. It gives every level its own identity while keeping that energetic indie vibe alive. Then there are the cutscenes. They're wonderfully stupid in the best possible way. The voice acting appears exactly when you least expect it, making already ridiculous moments even funnier. Instead of interrupting the pacing, they become part of the joke. The multiple endings also give you a reason to replay everything. Combined with collectibles and hidden content, there's far more here than you'd expect from what originally started as a school project. That's honestly one of the most impressive parts: this wasn't just "finished." It was expanded far beyond what anyone would reasonably expect, and you can tell the developer genuinely cared about making something people would enjoy. What impressed me the most is the confidence behind the game's humor. It never apologizes for being weird. It fully commits to every joke, every ridiculous line of dialogue, every over-the-top situation, and that's exactly why so many moments land. As a huge Pizza Tower fan, I kept smiling because the same spirit is here—not because it's copying Pizza Tower, but because it understands what makes games like that special: expressive animation, memorable characters, fast-paced platforming, and complete creative freedom. If Peppino Spaghetti ever bumped into Senor Epic, I honestly think they'd accidentally destroy the entire level while arguing over who has the crazier adventure. For only a couple of dollars, this game offers far more personality than many games costing twenty times as much. It's proof that passion matters more than budget. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would I play it again? Without hesitation. Would I tell every Pizza Tower fan to give it a shot? 100%. Now if you'll excuse me... It's Epic O'clock. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
