About
In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters, and a tactical turn-based battle system.
Embark on a quest across the lands to stop the demonic incursion.
Control your party of up to 6 characters.
Hire Mercenaries to replace your fallen party members.
Tactical Turn-Based Combat.
Explore a world full of unique characters, creatures, challenges, and treasure.
Level up your characters, increase your stats, and unlock new perks.
A beautiful retro 3D aesthetic.

Disappointingly little content. I'm not inclined to refund such a cheap game, but there is really not much here especially given how much is included in the demo. Pretty disappointing given that I'm into the whole PSX/lo-fi style graphics RPG trend. These were, at one point, fairly niche. However, there are a fair few other games that use a similar style now, and as such, I feel like this is a bit of a let-down content-wise, even at this low of a price. I would wait for the story to be complete. Personally I would have much preferred a higher, maybe even doubled, price tag accompanied by a game that had the amount of content it seems like they're targeting for the full release. I have no problem with early access but I am just not sure that the value proposition at the current moment is particularly exciting, even if I were to be generous with the amount that is actually here.
Gooooooooooooood! Add Russian language, plz!

promising game ruined by wild imbalance. Its so easy to basically be a walking simulator until you reach the end boss who is an actual challenge when he isnt one=shotting your back line on turn one... it just has no effort put into it. The only thing they made sure was that it was long enough (roughly 4 hours) so that you can't refund it. its also LGBTQ+ positive, there's an "elusive third gender" an Aeman, which are referred to as They/Them. "They" all look like men, though, and by far outnumber the male/female NPCs despite being "elusive". Furthermore, the game is just lazy. Character models dont match their portraits, many sound effects are missing, and while the game has interesting team-buildling mechanics, they are completely pointless! I'm certain with a LOT of revision this could make a great game, but as it stands, its literally an Alpha-build. This is tantamount to robbery and whole-heartedly dishonest. I'd refund this off principle just because I feel cheated by this poor excuse for a full release (early access or not!) Clown shoes.
The diarrhea sound in the beginning could be a little louder
As have just completed the ACT 1 of Entropy, I can say I'm hopeful, but I feel mislead. Dread Delusion, the prior game by the developer(s), as far as I can remember, did not release in an ACT format, but rather as a semi-complete experience with the understanding that it would change and be improved in the future. Nowhere in the marketing does this release state that it is an ACT of anything. As for the gameplay, it's decent. I don't care for JRPG, turn-based combat systems, but I do have many hours in XCOM, and found the combat somewhat easy, and I did play on Hard, the hardest difficulty. Minus the ACT 1 ending boss, which was a massive difficulty spike so extreme I had my first death, and had to grind for another hour and a half to beat him, which turned in to another slog of a fight. (Two Musket buckshot characters combined with Bile Shaper, and a mix-maxed Mace player character made short work of him after grinding from level 4 to level 5). Going deeper, from what I can gather, it plays exactly like a classic final fantasy game, but as I have never played such titles, I am guessing from my YouTube search. Entropy is a turn-based, party RPG with melee, magic, sectioned into two categories, and ranged. Single and dual handed exist most play styles / weapons, and most are pairable, say a magic user's tome with an off hand dagger, or a sword with a pistol. The options are numerous, but I simply found myself using the play style as listed above. It was engaging enough to not be tedious, but wasn't particularly fun, but I'm not the target audience, strangely, with how much I adore Dread Delusion, and the change in gameplay is off-putting. As for the world building, it's interesting, and does have many overlapping narrative features with Dread Delusion, a dying humanity, beginning on an Isle, an ancient civilization, and mushrooms, mushrooms everywhere. I thoroughly enjoy the mock-retro-scavenged fantasy future theme'ing, my stand outs are the Nipkow disks allegory and the single, sparse time we managed to enter an ancient ruin. The overgrown, stonework and hidden mechanical nature of the overgrown afterlife garden-forest, of who's name I forget, gives me just enough to wonder, without answers, which is kindly to the mind. The current civilization in-game is interesting as well, with heavy overlap to Pwyll and Hallowshire of the prior game, to the extend if said that if building textures were pulled from Dread Delusion, I would believe the statement. So far, in ACT I, we meet extremely cultured bat-folk, and brigands, not much else. More time is spend with ethereal afterlife gardeners than with actual, living characters who anything more to say than an offering of goods and wares (at a fair price!) We do meet an old shaper magic user who is a living, breathing(?) exposition dump. He's(?) forthcoming with said information, and hints of other, more technologically impressive feats unseen in-game. Liberal, gender politics aren't center stage, but happen often enough to be noticeable, with a third gender option, the aeman, as well as my favorite character, Selgair, being such. It's not open-faced and is made to fit in-universe, while (so far) not politics shoving, but the option alone makes me cautious of future storytelling. Overall, I will update my review as new versions release, but so far, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, let alone major fans of Dread Delusion like myself. This is another year or more in development of being worth $10. 8/18/2026
Fun game, good story that answers some questions up front but sometimes is a little murky in both a good and confusing way. Combat, at first, seems unnecessarily-complicated (such as why would I need to target a single limb at lower accuracy when I can just whittle them down quickly with accurate direct attacks), but in reality it's choices like those during a battle that can mean the difference between all of your party being alive or your favorite homie of your troupe going down to an unlucky crit. Magic is simple and fun, perks are very important for your mages, pretty alright for your fighters/marksmen and meh to anyone you're trying to make a tank. Lastly, I'd recommend not being greedy/stingy about your party, get extra party members, even if it feels excessive. Lone-wolfing it or doing an army of two is the quickest way to find yourself banging your head against a table.
This game has a very intriguing atmosphere and vibes (reminds me somehow to games like Fear and Hunger). I didn't expect to grow fond of or get to know the characters who can accompany that much, but it's appreciated that they have personality and something of their own backstory. I'm playing on the highest difficulty and so far it's super fun (and this comes from someone who has severe skill issues)
If a dev in 2026 thinks forcing you to die in the very first encounter is a good idea, then I have zero confidence in their game. Refund please.
Early Access, Act 1 only Entropy is a party-based RPG in a (post-apocalyptic?) fantasy setting. The gameplay is similar to the older JRPGs, so if one finds it tolerable, the game should be enjoyable. The drawbacks include the incredibly poorly made saving system (a single auto-save with several normally inaccessible backups in the folder) and almost the default RPGMaker combat system (the one you get out-of-the-box with 0 thought or effort put into it). The differences are that there are 2 lines and it is possible to target the body parts. The menus that ignore 100+ keys on your keyboard and have to be navigated 1 click at a time are still the main threat in combat (in general, it is the very possible death spiral, as the game auto-saves by default and the party members can die). Otherwise, the setting and the visual style look interesting enough. The equipment is visible on the character models which is a nice touch. There are some text-based adventure sequences as well. The controls are rebindable, although not quite comfortable, and the system requirements are refreshingly adequate.
This game is dripping with style, oozing with ambiance, i love it I would love a better character creation or naming system, but that just a personal preference This game is AWESOME, highly recommend it if you like turn based RPG and Cosmic nihilism aestetics Thank you!
