About
In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters, and a tactical turn-based battle system.
Embark on a quest across the lands to stop the demonic incursion.

It's still early access and you can only play Act 1 right now, took me about 6 hours and that was with some backtracking for info I missed. This game rules. The art style, the worldbuilding, the enemies, even the way people talk I find fascinating. There's so many little details in the art and the writing that just makes it all feel so real and important, even in a world as fantastical as Entropy's. If you're worried about committing to buying it early access, at least try the demo and put it on your wishlist. This is the kind of weird and exciting turn-based RPG I'm always in search of, and I loved what's available so far. EDIT: I realized I didn't mention the gameplay at all in my first posting of the review, but the world of Entropy is really what takes the focus for me. The gameplay is really interesting as well, and I love the turn-based combat, but I did feel it was a little easier than I wanted the hard and harrowing world of Entropy to feel (I did play on hard to be clear), especially considering how the tutorial makes it very clear that there is a chance any downed ally dies permanently. I only had an ally go down twice, once being completely fine, the second time gaining a minor injury. Only a few times did I feel on edge or worried about how the fight was going. I think part of this may also have been from my experience with the demo, I knew what kind of build I wanted right from the start, and what builds I wanted for my party members, so I felt none of the usual fears and growing pains of a first act. The combat systems of the game are really incredible, and I can absolutely see later acts building on it in even more exciting and interesting ways, especially with the magic system. All this to say, I do really enjoy the combat and the gameplay, but I think I came into the game expecting it to feel a little harder and harrowing. It is still only Act 1 of a game of an indeterminate length, so it might still be in an easier phase of the game.

positive critical· bar length = how often the theme comes up
good classic made up game, but too blurry, and combat need more speed, also need more armor variant and effect not just slap stick to body = finish, overrall got potential
Perfect game for those looking for a PS1 era turn based RPG to get sunk into. Only drawback is that it's only tha first act out so far and I need MORE!!
incredible throwback game with a huge emphasis on atmosphere & strategic combat. very much looking forward to the full game!
The game is fun for what it is, and well worth the cost. My only complaint is that the movement feels slow. Either a run or speed-up option would be nice.
Dread Delusion was a masterpiece in art, story and worldbuilding and Entropy is more of the same, refined to perfection. The inclusion of a classic JRPG combat system with inury and permadeath had me engaged with every combat through act 1. Play this game.
old-school JRPG in a setting worth exploring. At time of writing (day after early access release), it's only act I. Can't wait for the rest
Great so far, but $12 for about 10 hours with only Act 1 is wayyyy too much.
Honestly its an amazing game! I'll definitely play more and test all the classes, but the audio, art, how combat works, i'm very excited to see how it progresses!
Pretty good! Not as difficult as I thought it would be considering I played on hard(the apparent intended difficulty) I only died once and by the end of Act 1 only struggled with one fight(which was tied to an optional side quest) And since this is in Early Access and the devs are wanting suggestions etc here is some: Increase the accuracy of targeted attacks to incentivise their use. A middle ground between Regular attacks and weapon specific abilities. I felt that outside the opening area I didn't need to attack limbs as it would be faster to kill them outright with more accurate attacks or more damaging strikes. I would also like to see more defined characters to find and add to your party. I got through whats currently in the game with the 4 characters you get at the very beginning. The experience was enjoyable nontheless. I did not experience any glitches or bugs, and I felt rewarded for exploring.
