Cool game but local multiplayer is janky.
Just let me review without writing desc..
Note i have finished the game but it was on an old pc + was on the epic games launcher. An incredible game which has stood against the test of time. Pros: Replayability is really good (for context i usually hate replaying games, i only dead god one save of isaac and just stopped playing and for games with multiple endings i usually get one ending and stop playing) Base mechanics feel good; the guns are nice to use apart from the infinite ammo ones the characters start with which makes sense, dodging/rolling is fun. exploration is cool, exploring different areas such as the rat cave is cool and always looks really good bosses are super cool and memorable + can be really funny, in terms of gameplay i like the lich since he's the final boss but my favourite boss is ammoconda since the pun in the name is cool and he literally moves like snake the game you played on blackberry progression is decent the references this game makes are always super cool and reference both internet and actual real world culture, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awp that does more damage if you spin to the literal gunslinger referencing the gunslinger book + him looking like clint eastwood Cons: Very slow start, super boring and uninteresting in all runs apart from the gunslinger but that's cause he's meant to be when you're done with the game Overall get it
An excellent bullet hell game, Gungeon offers the variability of roguelikes in a top down shooter style. With many challenging modes, bosses, easter eggs and secrets, Enter the Gungeon will have you returning over and over with each run being completely unique and fun. Build the Bullet, Kill the Past, and Prepare for all that comes next.
