Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

To w skrócie. Szkoda marnować godziny życia na ten tytuł. Myślałem, że w swoim uporze ukończę grę, ale mnie zamęczyła.
I like the way the story resembles a Stephen King creation and the ability to adopt differing approaches to the plot . The sense of a post apocalyptic shattered world is well done . Progress and gameplay is slow and laborious espeicially if committed to combat avoidance.; overall very uninspiring.
I tried but I really can't get into it. The story and writing feels flat.
Fulfills but doesn't shine
Encased is an overall solid game which reminds us of the original Fallout games with some upgrades and some points that should be upgraded. Usually, I don't like to compare games from different sagas, but the inspiration Encased took from Fallout is just massive and hardly can be ignored. The game features a really interesting setting and lore, which creates a rather unique and enjoyable atmosphere. Obviously, it has a retro-futuristic theme we've seen already so many times but executed in a different way that makes the Encased word lore fresh and fun to discover. But encased not only brings a revisit to a fan-favorite theme like the retrofuture, but it also brings plenty of factions, side characters and companions with a surprisingly deep context and motivations. Throughout the game you will make enemies and allies, and although the "decisions matter" side of the game don't "matter" enough, the relation and progression with all those parties feels solid and fulfilling. The story is pretty good, nowhere near a masterpiece, but still good. With cliffhangers, mysteries and adequate pacing, the writing makes sure you want to keep unraveling the layers of Encased. Some companions are really deep while others are plainer, although from the six of them I've only had the chance to make character bond with three or four of them, so it's possible the rest are just fine if you keep them in your party for a while. The gameplay mechanics are fine, but it's where Encased suffers from their strongest flaws. The turn-based combat is simple with an action point mechanic, with different weapons, abilities and items, the game ensures enough variety to choose a playstyle. However, the cities and settlements are too big for the movement speed of the party, and crossing from one point to another to redeem a quest feels somewhat painful. The inventory and looting system are not great either, but manageable. If you like isometric turn based games, or want to recall some Fallout memories, Encased is a solid game that will grant you 25-40 hours of gameplay. The biggest downsides are the rough and clunky movement of the MC and companions, but I think they got overshadowed by the strong points of the game.
Yes, good game. I retired from playing doo doo butt ass FPS games to play this game. My wife loves me now, my kids look up to me, and the neighbors want me at their BBQ's. This game is amazing! It checks all the boxes and stopped me from checking my wife. I'm love her more than anything now. Thanks Devs, thanks John McClain, and most importantly, thank you Junkertown for electing me mayor
Super boring game. At one point it made me sit there and wait through all of the turns of a fight I wasn't even involved in and at another point it made me fill in forms and answer quizzes to be allowed through turnstiles. Other than that, it's mostly dialogue. Dialogue trees, dialogue trees, dialogue trees, dialogue trees, dialogue trees. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Let me play the game without inundating me under so much dialogue. I want to play a game not sit through an endless conversation. And the entire setting and story is absolute nonsense. I like sci-fi, not sci-nonsense. And the quests are nothing but errand-running busy work. Go here, turn on the switches, talk to the people, go there, fix the machine. Collect the key to open the door. Yawnfest.
WTF, what kinda drugs were your writers snorting/injecting?
