Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've had lots of fun with the game. Stealth + criminal option allows massive stealing, which provides huge boost to money and equipment.
Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG – 100% Completion Review
All achievements earned, every faction route completed, every ending unlocked, all secrets discovered Encased is a spiritual successor to the isometric classics, built with reverence and loaded with systems, but weighed down by uneven execution. It draws from Fallout, Wasteland, and the early CRPG canon, but filters everything through its own Cold War-era sci-fi setting and existential weirdness. You begin as a new recruit under the Dome, a mysterious anomaly filled with pre-collapse tech, rival factions, and strange phenomena. The opening hours are rich in choice and flavor. Background traits and stats matter. Dialogue trees branch meaningfully. And from the start, you are deciding what kind of survivor you want to be. Combat is functional but uninspired. Turn-based encounters rely on positioning and gear upgrades, but enemy AI is limited and encounter design lacks variety. Builds like energy weapons or stealth feel undercooked, and late-game difficulty depends more on numbers than tactics. What completionists will appreciate is the branching structure and sheer depth of content. Multiple faction paths, secret zones, lore terminals, and character-specific resolutions make a full run feel worthwhile. Some side quests are throwaway, but others unlock entirely new subplots. Endings vary dramatically based on choices that may seem minor when made. Bugs, stiff animations, and pacing issues persist throughout. The first half is stronger than the second, and the final act feels rushed.
Encased is ambitious, dense, and often brilliant, but rough around the edges. For those willing to see everything, it becomes more than the sum of its parts. Not quite a modern classic, but absolutely worth completing if you miss old-school RPGs with teeth.
I played this originally on epic games after I snapped it up on a free Friday it's just as good now as it was then A hidden gem
Admittedly, this game could have used a little more polish, however, if you're a fallout fan like me, this game is very similar in the way it is played. The game also has good graphics considering it's isometric. I found the plot interesting but not outstanding. The fact that you can finish the game by either killing everything or killing nothing and everything in between is great for all types of games and not only the ending is dependent on your choices, but also some mid-game things, like dialogue or quest completion. I also liked the combat skill options for the different weapons, it was a welcome change. On the other hand, I didn't like the skill interface and found it cumbersome. Character progression was fairly simple and is based on the skill/perk system (could have been done better or at least more original). Character fatigue was a constant problem for me during the game. The enemies were repetitive and random encounters were scaled to level, which I found somewhat problematic at the higher levels. Also, money (combonds) is hard to come by. Overall, I'd recommend this game, especially if it's for a bargain.
I implore anyone reading this to please play Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2. Then, consider playing W40k: Rogue Trader. Then, consider playing Wasteland 2/3. Then, consider playing Pathfinder. If you STILL need more games in this gameplay formula, then AND ONLY THEN, consider getting this. I got it for $3 and I couldn't make it to the third hour. It's 2025 and the Sci-Fi genre has got serious competition and this game has no chance. This game has a generic Sci-Fi setting, like modern Fallout but with Bronze colors. It's got this drab retro Sci-Fi vibe that only Funko Pop Redditors and Disney adults can enjoy, like Alien but bright and no horror. It's hilarious that the devs can think this is original in any way.
Great CRPG, lots of Ways to play it , and all your Decisions do matter, for the Good, or the Bad. You can have around 10 different Ending´s corresponding to your choosen "Path´s".. -Be a Assasin, a Killer? Go for it! -Be the Lone Wolf, Thief, hated by everyone? -Go for it! -Be Stupid n talk to Potatoe´s(litterally!)? -Go for it! -Be everyone´s Darling and a Puppet of the political Parties? ...you may have already guessed it, go for it! 😅 Big open World to roam around free, random Encounters, non linear Gameplay. (Xactly whats sadly rare theese Days) As this Game got funded by a Kickstarter-Campaign, it´s truly a little Gem out there even if it may still feel a bit empty at some Points tho but I had a great Time playing! -Would definately buy a Encased2-
From the technical perspective the game is good enough. Gameplay loop is fine at most. However, it's utterly faceless in terms of identity. Every dialogue feels like some sort of "stock" interaction, they are bland and unmemorable. Music and sound design as a whole are lacking. The plot is weak, mainly because of the motivation of the protagonist.
