Empires and Tribes is a unique hybrid of a medieval city builder and a role-playing game. You will undertake the duties of a mayor in the 13th century and manage the expansion of your city, ensure the production of resources and raise a powerful army to protect yourself from rival principalities.

Simply put: It's a straight-forward but decent potato game! If you wan't to have fun and pass some spare time. This is it!
This game is just too buggy and not a joy to play. I thought maybe the negative reviews were unfounded, but soon realised it was not. The first person view does not, for me, add value to the gameplay. Buildings that are placed indicate that there is no road connection, although there are roads connected. In first person view the A.I. seems to just wander around aimlessly. I'll just keep this short and say this game feels unfinished. It seems as if it was rushed and development was abruptly stopped for some reason ... and maybe released to get some income from the game. It's a big NO from me.
Another underrated jewel on the market. Something many of us dreamt of but nobody offered. Great combination of roleplaying game, village builder and real-time strategy with mediocre 2005-2010 graphics and open world. Become lord of your own fief, manage and expand your hamlet into self-sufficient stronghold with its own army. Plan, build and task your subjects as in regular village builder, then saddle in first person view of your character and help your settlement by putting hands to work, relieve villagers off their troubles by completing diverse scale of quests, maintain diplomatic relations with the king and fellow nobles, attend council meetings and regulate your people's lives by approving laws. + Superb idea, great selection of genres, except Manor Lords, there is nothing similar on the market + Unlike other combat city builders where you frequently get random raids or at most have world map where other settlements are just icons with predefined numbers that barely evolve or expand, in Empires and Tribes the AI controlled opponent builds its own settlement the same way as you do, including building fortifications, castles and armies in real time + Day and night cycle combined with seasons + There is always happening something that keeps you busy, doesn't get repetetive - Needs polishing, should've stayed in Early Access a bit longer - Graphics and animations that remind me of 2008 Mount & Blade - Little to no connection with developers. EDIT: DONT BUY THIS GAME'S ABANDONED
... .... Schmutz...
Very big loading problem. Graphics from the 90s. It's a shame because it's an enjoyable game.
