I hate when there is no options for key bindings. Don't like playing with arrow keys on pc. Both Em-A-Li games can be navigated by mouse, that's good but you have to press enter key to enter doors or use items, which ruins it.There is a non stop static noise in bg from start which is annoying for me. The story is not that good and the voice narration lags behind the words narration so I end up reading faster and skip which ruins the fun.No options for narration format so no choice. Game is small and doesn't eat up time. If i play it continuously it will finish within 35 mins i guess. Still not worth the time for me. Ended up watching youtube while playing lol.
"Hello box, I'm depressed" , same Em-A-Li , same. I didn't expect to get hooked , the devoloper was kind enough to give me a key , it got me invested in the story , I kinda expected for the end to be that way but enjoyed the game , the only think that I would suggest for the developer to change or improve is the footsteps , feels kinda off , the rest is well done , great voice acting, great creepy/relaxing vibe of music , the animation is good , so yeah I recommend it .

I'll give it a good review just for the voice and the pretty lovely plot. It's pretty linear thou which was a bit of a disappointment.
Short walking simulation horror. Atmospheric and unsettling. Definitely worth it a play, and I would love to see a longer game from the dev in a similar style, maybe with more puzzle elements and an inventory system introduced.
A fun simply mini horror game with lore, funny voice acting and nice soundtracks that set the moods. but how ever this game took me 52 minutes to beat, so if you are look for a longer horror game this may not be fore you but if you don't care and want a fun game to play this is it. also i hope we get a second game that would be awesome.
Pixel style horror-short-story! Pro: The story was a lil predictable, but still very enjoyable executed. Also the soundtrack and the voice-actress complemented each other very well. Con: It is rather short and linear - there could be more options to choose from, well actually, any options would have elevated the gaming experience a lil more. But overall, for the listed price (1,60€), absolutely worth a play-through. Esp if you dont feel like reading and would rather enjoy a cozy-horror game inbetween.
Em-A-Li This game was very short with horror elements. The story was short but still interesting. I enjoyed the art style and Em-A-Li's voice actress. And the mood was set well. I had only found 1 bug where the hall lights didn't flicker on to show an available path(one where I already walked through then doubled back to see if I missed anything before progressing), I was still able to navigate without much issue. I wonder how Li had ended up in the room to begin with. Only feedback would be to make the game longer, since it took roughly 40 minutes to complete. But overall, a good spoopy narrative. Good for the younger player and/or those who haven't been desensitized by horror. Overall,
It took a while to get to playing this game, but now that I have, here I am! The game has a charming pixel-graphic aesthetic. The use of negative space in each of the maps lends itself to the oppressive and ominous atmosphere of the setting, and helps to focus the player on discovery. Each new room that opens up reveals a new piece of the story (which I will not be spoiling here), as well as new lines of fully voice acted dialogue. The voice acting particularly is very well done, and the subtle changes in tone, as well as the editing, are impressive. It's very uncommon to find voice acting in pixel games, especially pixel horror games, and certainly nothing quite as high quality as this. The game is very short - I finished it in about half an hour - but it's definitely worth a play-through. I'd like to see the developer make more games, and experiment a bit with character choice and hidden rooms (which there may have been - I just didn't find any for myself!). Overall: Em-A-Li is a high-quality, fully voice-acted pixel horror short, and comes well recommended if that sounds like something you're looking for. I'll be keeping an eye out for any further games released by this dev. Ah, and of course - thank you for the game! I had a lot of fun playing it. :D
