Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins

This game is absolutely fantastic, it plays very similarly to Simulacra with the added benefit that it is within the Doctor Who universe. I absolutely loved this game (and I have always loved the concept of Weeping Angels, in my opinion I think they are one of the best enemies in Doctor Who). The story was very compelling and held my attention the entire time I was playing through the game. The story follows Lawrence, who is in a previous Doctor who episode and almost acts as a way for you to see what happens after the episode is over. Although the scares weren't some of the best I have seen they were still good in my opinion, since this is a horror game. For a $5.99 price tag all the time I highly recommend this game, although it can be kind of short, I completed it in about 3 hours. TLDR: The game is fantastic, it is in the Doctor who universe and although it is a horror game the scares are not the best. The story for the game is fantastic and for it being only $5.99 (all the time) I highly recommend this game. So what are you waiting for? Say geronimo and jump on in. You have got to find out what happened and get to the bottom of it, Allons-y and remember, don't blink.

I have sort of a love/hate relationship with this game. To be fair, it was of FANTASTIC quality, and I loved the insanely great graphic inclusions and real-life style of the game. On the other hand, even taking your time as a first-time player, this game is only four to five hours long at MAX. I played for two hours from beginning to finish and it was my first time playing, and I made most of the achievements. So I would say that it's biggest flaw is how short this game really is, no matter what you decide to do in the game. I LOVE Doctor Who, and I am always in love with anything Whovian. So naturally, I do love this game. But I really think they could have done a lot better by making it a bit longer, maybe even at the expense of some of the more unnecessary graphics (ducks!!). I loved the interactive play, and the unique puzzles that actually forces you to *think*, but without being impossible to solve. Overall, I enjoyed the game, it just was literally the shortest game I've ever played. Be sure to stick around after the (unnecessarily long) credits roll at the end of the game (after the call from the Doctor) in order to see which achievements in the game you accomplished! Overall, 3.5 out of 5 stars.

This game reminds me of how good Doctor Who used to be and also how lame it has become. Overall it was ok especially if you liked the Simulacra games. Overall I will recommend for Doctor Who fans. Has enough good nostalgia to outweigh some of the more modern nonsense.

Bit mixed feelings since it was released during dei doctor. It has some pronouns, some cringy dialogue options, but it's not too annoying. The underlying story is a nice follow up to the blink episode. As far as 'you found a phone' games go, this was first one I actually enjoyed.

It's an interesting idea mixing Doctor Who with Simulacra, although I'm not sure how to fit the main villains with the whole gameplay of Simulacra itself ( I still to watch the 13th Doctor Saga so I might be stupid ) Cool experience, just not what I expected for something related to Doctor Who in general.

Don't know why I took so long to play this. it isn't perfect but it's pretty good. a nice continuation of an amazing Doctor Who episode. the puzzles weren't too hard, the game wasn't overly long, and I only missed a couple of things, and I had a good time overall
