I sat on the fence forever on this one. I wasn't sure if I'd like town building, the anime vibe, etc. If you've spent thousands of hours in Cataclysm: DDA/BN, (not the Steam version), there is a very strong chance you'll like Elin. Once it has it's hooks in you, Much like C:DDA there's a LOT to learn under the hood. This game is pure psychotic chaos, in a good way. Insane things can and will happen, NPC's get drunk and shoot the place up, etc. It does have a robust failsafe when it comes to killing NPC's. So it's just something to enjoy and not worry about. I've never seen it go on sale, but I think the value for 19.99 is more than worth it. Dig into the free demo if you're not sure.
