The option at the start of the game to make NPCs stop aging at 13 years old should have been hint enough for me that this is some truly gooner pedo crap. It got only worse from there when the game asked me if I want a "little girl" as my "starting animal". No amount of system complexity and design will make me overlook stuff like that. Frankly, I'm pretty appalled that this game isn't at least x-rated.

Before buying this game I read a review that said “Elin is like crack for people with autism”. I did not heed the warning. FOOLISHLY I pressed on and purchased the game. Now I look at my growing pile of work and responsibilities with the knowledge that I have only myself to blame.

Clear Nefias to continue to fund your slave empire so that you can financially recover from a disappointing flower purchase. Plays a lot like Elona but the story is tied to developing your settlements this time, rather than settlements acting like optional storage / food / money making schemes like they used to. This can initially be off-putting as you get used to the down time required to upgrade / maintain your settlements but can be automated for massive profits as the game goes on. Moongates also work properly now! I highly recommend this game if you liked the original or house building second life simulator types of games.

Went into this game thinking "huh, what a cute-looking little game", and decided to give it a go. Haven't been able to put it down since, lol. It's super fun, has tons of unique mechanics (seriously, a crap ton), beautiful art, a huge world that constantly loads new instances in areas, difficult mobs/bosses, and great QoL and building with its base management. Since playing the dev seems to put out frequent fixes/updates within the in-game log as well. Love the game so far!
