10/10 would play again.
What could this possibly be racing across my screen... OOoooo, enemies...
So it's not a terrible game...In fact in general I like it. I can't really recommend it though because there are just too many things holding it back. You can't unlock all the towers. You only get a few points per mission and you can't get more by repeating the missions or getting achievements or anything.....so you HAVE to specialize in a few towers....which feels limiting. You CAN reset all your points to try another path, but frankly then you have to reset everything over and over again! Not fun! The campaign has only a few chapters and then....Nothing. After that you have to hope for multiplayer challenges to get any more mileage out of the game. Side note; sometimes you get a great match....but mostly you encounter cheaters or children and I advise you to avoid both unless you are a die hard fan. There just isn't enough here to call it a game in my opinion and there are just objectively better choices out there like Defense Grid. There is also no story line at all...Not even a hint of one, but there is annoying comments that pop up whenever the game throws a change at you....It added nothing and irritated me personally. In short, the DLC should have been part of the base game to give it some value and they really need to just unlock the towers so you can experiment without having to reset your points over and over.
Great Tower defense game!
