About
Echoes of Mystralia is a roguelite action-RPG where memory is power. Craft your own spells, refine your tactics, and carve your path through a world trapped in the horrors of its past.
Play as Mazarim, a Watcher tasked with protecting the Cycle of Memories. Explore the lands of Mystralia, meet its lost souls, and face the Shadows of the Past. Will you save the World’s Memory before it disappears into the Rift?
Thunderbursts, freezing tornadoes, fire vortices. If you can imagine it, you can craft it. Memories are your only weapon against the Shadows of the Past. Combine them, reorder them, and watch your spell take shape right in front of you.
Discover a world haunted by its past, where people are reliving the horrors of their own history. Every path has its challenges, its encounters, and its rewards. And your journey is yours to command.
Every journey ends with a return to the Azimuth Temple. Up there, Watchers can develop their skills, change their combat approach, or simply enjoy the pearls of wisdom of a millennia-old dragon.
A Rift has opened in the Cycle of Memories. As a Watcher, it falls to you to save the World’s Memory. Divinities, primordial Guardians, and peoples scarred by war and exploitation: a vast world unfolds before you. Only you can uncover its hidden truths.

I almost give this game a thumbs down, but once I found out all the achievements currently are unlockable, then all my frustrations to the game gone. In short, end of the game feel extremely good but early game feel very bad (might be due to my skill issues), need some patience to get through. Played with Keyboard Mouse. Completed 52 runs. Unlocked all achievements. In game, I did not clear all quests but unlocked all Altar echoes. Each complete run take roughly one and half hour for me. For the spellcrafting part, I do feel the fun of crafting and get strong, but due to those hyperactive minions, some spells that required you to stand-still or short ranged are very bad, I don't know it's my skill issues or the minions are way too strong in the final region. Before unlock everything, I do feel RNG the main cause of losing the run, once unlocked everything, I get to complete most of the runs, so I do think the freedom of crafting is there since I can just pick up whatever Memory I have in the run and build on spot. For spell, I only play Nosta Aqua (the ice sniping spell) for long range snipe and Cele Aqua (the ice shuriken spell) for constant damage while focusing dodge. In my opinion, this game is extremely draggy and grindy. First few runs really bad experience, might be due to my skill issues since I am bad at dodging. Game only feels better after unlocked a certain progress, really need some patience here to grind stuff. The game definitely lacking QoL improvement, especially that Memory Keeper achievement tracking progress. I feel possible to win in every run only after I have unlocked everything and upgraded enough in Lotus, before that I lose almost every run, which is why I feel so draggy, come on man, I need to unlock this far only I can taste the game? There is also interesting puzzle game but puzzle that affect main progress added time attack which I failed at the first time, this is also one of the reasons that I feel dragging the game for no reason. A little bit of exploring feel because after each combat, you need to go through the map so that you don't miss out some enhancements. For me, this game is quite complete already even in EA state, everything is playable, I think there are some bugs in the quests, maybe one or two, but I don't really care because quest rewards only speed up the progress of grinding, if you repeatedly do a lot of runs you will eventually unlock everything. For the memory (spell modifier), I think there is 1 memory does not show up no matter what at the current state, but this memory does not stop you from unlocking the Memory Keeper achievement. For story, I don't comment much since I am okay with any kind of story, but currently the story is not completed yet I think.
zauber selber baun is schon immer ne idee, die ich mochte. ham se gut gemacht
fantastic vidjagame, hades with modular spell crafting, focus slot systems is interesting as well, hope we get more freedom in updates
game's reaaally good, spells are satisfying af most of the time, I like this system a lot, I've been WAITING to play this game fr, omw to 100% it sooner or later
Mystralia gets right many of the things that Hades-style action games are supposed to do. The control is swift, interactive, and skill based. The more you play, you will naturally get better at controlling the player. In combat, the player will kite or keep distance sometimes, but not most of the time. Runs play differently based on what powers you choose and what powers you get. | Balance is better than you might expect now, but not great. You could have some fun with most of the combos, but the channel combos are almost all weaker because they act on a delay. The absolute worst power is the wind channel which requires you to charge before hitting, does almost no damage, brings and enemy near you, and does not apply a status effect to interrupt them. When you can get a non-channel beam which fires instantly, does normal damage, has range and leaves the enemy away from you and applies a status effect which may interrupt the enemy, why would you choose the wind channel? The artifacts and spell trigger/modifiers are also not perfectly balanced, but they aren't supposed to be. Still, you'll too many minor modifiers (critical increase, damage to undamaged enemies) which always seem worse than "just do damage". The game is very attractive but the story is fairly worthless. If you want vibes there are vibes, but there's not a single meaningful plot point. Most Roguelikes try to loop the looping into the story, and end up with nothing to say. The end of the EA story seems to think we care about any of the characters, or even know who they are other than 'that guy stands over there'. This doesn't hurt the game, but don't expect anything.
