Overall, not a bad game. Some glitches, but nothing game breaking. Things are quite in depth, especially in dynasty mode. Gameplay is challenging and forces you to use strategy to combat opponents defenses. The passing mechanics are quite good and require good user timing. Stadium noise really messes you up on offense or defense and adds a great overall challenge to the game (in my dynasty this was really prevalent when playing Ohio State). Recruiting is pretty cool and you can sway players from their top schools with some work and patience. The music, 12th man, even the school bands are done really well. Sidelines and crowds react with emotion when something happens on field (fumble, interception, etc..). Graphics are really good, for the most part Some player heads are simply horrific with greatly oversized mouths and lips bigger than soda cans. Funny, but not even close to realistic....fix this EA. My only real beef with the game is the continued use of canned animations instead of using real physics. This engine needs to be badly upgraded. My final score: 7/10. Let's hope Madden is this good this year.
Game
Gameplay is pretty good, would prefer MADDEN control layout but the main gripe. Why can i not use my selected playbook in Road2CF? No straight online h2h, so you're stuck with the b/s plays you get ROAD2CF i want to play and use the same book i use in ALL modes.
Kent State rebuild impossible W realism
Do I think there is work to be done still in the game? Yes. Dynasty recruiting, NIL and coaches salary needs fixing. Is the gameplay the best in the last three years? Yes. You can run the ball and defenses will give you challenges. I have played on Xbox the last three years and got it on PC just for the mods to save what EA refuses to address... Also, STOP PUTTING IN MICROSTRANSATIONS IN A GAME THAT DOES NOT NEED IT.
A problem with the update has been corrected.
its alr
wish i could recommend but it crashes all the time and the fixes are so convoluted. is a buggy mess. would recommend holding off on purchase until they fix the technical aspects
the worst developer you know made their best sports game
Its alright I don't think it deserves the 39% I would say realistically if its your first football game in a long time its a solid 75%. I enjoy Road to Glory and Dynasty so far. I haven't seen the offline p2w issues people are having though. I'd recommending doing the trial EA offers before buying it to save the money. The price point is a little much for little change from 26 but if you got it like that and just play this for the love of the game then I'd say get it.
