Hard to recommend this one. A Battlefield inspired FPS with Touhou characters. A lot of gun customization. Nice models of chars and guns. But this is kinda where the praise ends. The dev seems to have revamped the game recently, removing a ton of good content, esp from singleplayer. But instead added multiplayer and some maps? And ryona elements, i guess? The current version, as i played it, feels very stale. The maps are big and you HAVE TO run and backtrack a lot, it's tiring. There are bus stops here and there, but they only teleport you to super specific places, despe there being much more of them? This sucked. 60% of the singleplayer campaign was spent on running back and forth from mission to mission on empty maps. Compare that to the previous build - the SP campaign has VEHICLES. YES, you have a car to ride around the maps. This felt much better, even if the maps are linear most of the time. I'm so tired of walking. The old version also has: actual Third Person View support with aiming and being able to rotate the camera and attachment models (current version just has the camera glued behind you and the guns are just base models), BULLET TIME, MUCH better weapon recoil (unlike the current version, where even semi-auto will knock back your aim like crazy), so you can actually play this game like a SHOOTER GAME, a melee weapon, icons for attachments (i genuinely have no idea why they removed these). And the shop actually has things to buy!! You can buy attachments!!!!! The current version has attachments as pickups scattered randomly across the map, why did they think it was a good idea, no really. And also Nazrin!!! She was just removed from the current version for no particular reason. The old version also seems to have more detailed graphic settings to make the game look much more vibrant than the current boring gray and gritty looking visuals. And all this was removed? But they added multiplayer and some unbelievable recoil? And piss with gore, i guess? (Not that i mind it). I'm not even mentioning my small nitpicks, like the blown out voices with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up audio balance and unfair enemy AI that kites back and forth and snipes you with barrage of infinite bullets. Or that some gun models look better in the old version. You can still play the old version by using steam and i really hope the dev listens to the players and adds the good things back, but in the current state the game feels way too bland and raw. It's an ambitious and impressive one man project and i have nothing but positive prayers for them, but design choices like this are very questionable. I really think this game has something beautiful going for it. I like the player char and gun customization, i like the weird artistic choices, i like the unexpected ryona elements, but right now the game is not even that fun to play (the recoil is a ♥♥♥♥♥). At least you can still play the old version, i guess.
nm的 人机太逆天了 漏点头皮自己差点死了 心态不好的不建议去玩
E.E.R.I.E2, developed and published by Ureasoft, is an indie third-person tactical shooter that blends modern military weaponry with a stylized fantasy setting. Positioned as a hybrid between grounded firearms realism and anime-inspired worldbuilding, the game attempts to carve out its own identity within the crowded shooter genre. Rather than focusing solely on cinematic spectacle or hyper-competitive gameplay, it offers a mixture of open-ended mission design, customizable weapon systems, and both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes. At its core, E.E.R.I.E2 is built around detailed firearm mechanics. Weapons are modeled with visible parts, realistic reload animations, and a range of attachment options that allow players to customize performance. Scopes, under-barrel attachments, explosive launchers, and other modifications provide flexibility in combat approach. This attention to weapon detail is one of the game’s strongest features, as it gives players a sense of control over their loadout and encourages experimentation. Whether engaging enemies from a distance with a precision rifle or navigating close quarters with heavier firepower, the shooting mechanics aim to feel deliberate rather than arcade-like. The single-player experience offers mission-based gameplay across varied environments. Players take on the role of Luna, a fairy heroine navigating a conflict that blends modern combat with fantastical elements. Maps range from wide open outdoor areas to enclosed interior spaces, requiring different tactical approaches. Open areas encourage flanking maneuvers and long-range engagement, while tighter environments demand careful movement and quick reactions. The mission structure provides some flexibility, allowing players to approach objectives from different angles rather than forcing a single linear path. Enemy encounters are designed to encourage situational awareness and adaptability. Different enemy types require varied responses, and the destructible elements within environments add a layer of unpredictability. Explosive weapons can reshape the battlefield, altering cover positions and forcing players to rethink their approach. While the AI does not always demonstrate advanced tactics, it provides enough resistance to keep engagements active and occasionally tense. The combat loop, particularly when combined with weapon customization, forms the backbone of the experience. Multiplayer functionality expands the game’s scope. Cooperative modes allow players to tackle missions together, coordinating loadouts and strategies to overcome challenges. Competitive modes introduce player-versus-player encounters that emphasize weapon mastery and map knowledge. For an indie project, the inclusion of both LAN and online play demonstrates ambition. Cooperative sessions, in particular, highlight the game’s strengths, as teamwork can compensate for AI limitations and create dynamic, player-driven scenarios. However, E.E.R.I.E2 is not without its shortcomings. As an indie release, it exhibits rough edges in areas such as interface polish, onboarding, and narrative depth. Tutorials are limited, meaning new players may need time to understand the full range of mechanics and customization options. Level design, while varied in setting, can sometimes feel repetitive in structure, and the story elements remain relatively underdeveloped. The fantasy setting provides context, but it does not always receive the narrative attention necessary to fully immerse players. Technically, performance is generally stable, though optimization can vary depending on hardware. Visual presentation leans toward functional rather than cutting-edge. Character models and environmental assets are serviceable, but not particularly striking. The art direction blends military realism with anime-inspired character design, creating a somewhat unconventional aesthetic mix. This stylistic choice may appeal to players interested in genre fusion but could feel tonally inconsistent to others. Despite these limitations, E.E.R.I.E2 succeeds in delivering a competent and occasionally engaging tactical shooter experience at an accessible scale. Its weapon customization system and multiplayer options provide tangible value, especially for players who enjoy experimenting with loadouts and cooperative play. While it does not reach the refinement or narrative ambition of larger-budget shooters, it demonstrates clear effort and ambition within its scope. Ultimately, E.E.R.I.E2 stands as a modest but noteworthy indie shooter that blends realism and fantasy into a flexible combat framework. Its strengths lie in its firearm mechanics and multiplayer support, while its weaknesses stem from limited narrative development and occasional design roughness. For players seeking a customizable third-person shooter with both solo and cooperative options, it offers a solid foundation that may continue to evolve with updates and refinement. Rating: 7/10
