Assume command of a battle fleet and deploy immediately to the Dust Zone, commander. Our main food supply station has gone dark and the United Earth Nations (UEN) needs to know why in this 4X RTS space sim. Manage your ships, control space stations, and watch your back.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

It's the 24th century and the colonization of space is not going well. Hyperspace opened the door to the stars, but habitable worlds are few and far in between, overpopulation is still rampant, and our civilization's appetite for resources has only increased. For over a hundred years, the incredibly rich Dust Zone sated this endless appetite, jointly controlled by the United Earth Nations and the Zone Mining Cooperative. But humanity’s fighting chance only lasted for a short hundred years.
Now, it has gone dark. Freighters stopped arriving with supply hauls and humanity is facing an unprecedented crisis. It's up to the commander of UEN's finest fleet, to deploy into the Dust Zone, investigate, and solve the supply chain crisis before it spirals out of control. It's time to demonstrate strategic aptitude in a turn-based management mode. Then, head to the front lines and channel your inner commander in intense, real-time space battles.

Command an entire space fleet and survive in the most hostile environment known to man. Secure strategic nodes, harvest the Dust Zone's resources, and expand the fleet to confront the threat to humanity's survival.
Customize each individual ship using a detailed designer. Upgrade every vessel with newly researched hulls, modules, and of course, weapons. Every upgrade matters, not just on the ships themselves.
Complete side missions to unlock additional fleet stations and strategic options. These can provide one-of-a-kind bonuses in battles, from extra build queues to support powers - potentially turning the tide of the battle at hand or even the entire war.

Take command of a custom fleet in intense 4x real-time tactical battles, maneuvering them in a fully 3D combat space.
Employ complex, tactical maneuvers to gain the upper hand and defeat superior foes through cunning and strategic brilliance.
Summon reinforcements and support powers from adjacent sectors to influence the direction of the battle.

Never give up and keep the fight going in the Sector Assault mode to generate a fully randomized starmap, side missions, and enemies, for fresh challenges each time.
Use the robust campaign editor and mod.io integration to create and easily share new campaigns with fellow players and craft personalized challenges!
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Good enough
Fair play to this solo developer. You have made a knock off of the Original Homeworld, with the space combat having the vertical dimension of to it. The difference here is that rather than a sequential series of missions with a persistent fleet, you now have resources and sectors to manage. All this with a UI and game play loop that will be very familiar to anyone who has played a game like this before. There is a Story Mode that where the Dev presumably got the local 6th form drama class to do the voice over work, and one of their mums to play the villain. But competently done. The story its self while wont change the world, is an engaging one that sets the tone. When one a character refers to the 'Raiders' faction as "Raiders" the leader of the faction replies "We don't really call ourselves that." The Story campaign has a selection of missions, and a few side missions that while are similar format do provide some verity and will run you to around 20ish hours of gameplay. Some of the enemies and problems you encounter require an element of tactical thought. Playing Homeworld and its sequels, one of the major gameplay mechanics is stealing every ship that you possibly could to bolster your own fleet. This mechanic is also evident here, with the addition that if you successfully steal 3x enemy ships you can reverse engineer them, customise them and add them to your fleet. Also unlocking modifying any that you have diligently stolen, as the base models are usually rubbish. Ships also have a number of status and area effects, in the style of the Starfleet Armada series, but I am unsure as to the exact details of those effects, outside of the Chaff. Ships also have experience points that give %s to hit points and DPS, this can be upgraded by throwing resources at it. Nice idea, but only really worth it for the more expensive ships with higher hit points as the cost to upgrade is the same for a frigate as a capital ship. All this rapt up in a package that is visually OK and obviously wears its influences on its sleeve. Babylon 5 stations, Protomolecule from the Expanse is here for some reason, BSG / Space Above and Beyond fighter, to note but a few. My only issues are – It is very easy. At a strategic level I maintained light fleets on boarders with the enemy faction, because I have played games like this before. But the only assaults that I had to deal with were nuisance at worst. If you have wing of APCs and the healer ships, your neighbour popping over is just an opportunity to rob you some more ships. At a tactical level, the aforementioned raiders have no counter to fighters. When being presented with an enormous raider armada that attacked a system I had negligently only defended with a small fleet with one of the light carriers I thought I was doomed. Except I simply deployed that carrier, unleashed the fighter wing, retreated the carrier. After I had finished cooking dinner for the family I came back to the game to see that I had won. Even after ship after ship was destroyed, they were wiped out rather than retreating. Coding for that behaviour, or giving the basic weapon some sort of AA defence would have been a better balancing option. The adversary ships that are in the Story mode are presented as near unstoppable, but in the ‘Sector Assault’ the intergalactic Carjacking approach never failed, making the only challenge being insuring that you APCs get through. If the AI could also use this approach, that might add a new tactical dimension to the game. I have no Idea what the utility of the Refinery Ship is. I thought the Harvester unit would need it to work, but no apparently. These are small gripes. On the whole a 20 hour campaign (Deserts of Kharak was 12 hours) and another 20ish hours (I did wander off to do things) for the Sector Assault, was time well spent. All from a Solo dev. Well done sir.

dust fleet is a amazing space RTS and filled anything you would want from a space game , lots of homeworld's systems and vibes,
its fun, gives the homeworld feel, sometime it gets a little complex with the time systems but if you want to put the time in id say its worth 25 bucks
Suite à la dernière mise à jour, il est impossible de jouer à Dust Fleet. Il semble que ce soit lié au format supérieur à la résolution de mon portable.
Small but good game. You get Homeworld ( controls), B5 (look of the stations) and Stargate (Hyperspace exit and the city in the campaign) vibes. But there are a few things that would make it better im my opinion: 1. the scienestations need 2 tecslots 2. when a system gets atk, if the station has a combatskill u should be able to use it 3. during capture of a vessel it should be deactivated and invulnable; had a few ships destroyed even after i captured it, because my units didnt stop fireing at it or the ship i tried to capture destroyed the transports after they docked with it Except for those 3 things good game
Definitely feels like a passion game inspired by the Homeworld series! Just like the homeworld series, ships can move vertically which does make me feel old considering the age of the Homeworld series lol - old but gold I must say. The variety does not rival the homeworld series but the campaign scenario certainly was interesting enough for my tastes, so do give this title a chance!
Its fun, some of the models are inspired by other SciFi show's and IP, but not rip offs. The game play is similar, but a departure from other 4X and RTS games. Got it on sale, more than worth the value for the money on sale, but a decent game at full price I'd wager. Developer is friendly, and still working to improve it. If you like space ships, 4x and RTS, give it a go.
You came here looking for more Homeworld
As others have already said it is similar to Homeworld in combat gameplay having some of the best features such as full 3d movement and enemy ship capture but also has things Homeworld did not such as ship customizeation allowing you to change the weapons on ships so you can have specific ships that specialize in anything from long range to anti-fighter. The game is also partly open world allowing you to choose when to do story missions. Honestly I loved the game and hope we see a sequel or at least see more devs follow a similar path since we don't see games of this style and quality often enough.
