amazing gameplay, amazing graphics, amazing music, amazing story, fun, but subtle references, great callback to 00s era 3D platformers, loved every moment I will say though, I think the money cap should be a bit higher, or their should be a bit more to collect, I was constantly navigating around the bonus challenge crystals because I couldn't hold any more money and while far from a killer critisum, I do find it ammusing that a combat where you are left with no potions, and a sliver of health can get you the dialog "I think I'm getting the hang of this" while a full health no hit can get you "that was a close one" I also feel the heavy attacks could be moved up a bit in progression, they make combat a lot more interesting, with each combo having a clear, and different job not that you really get to use it, listen, I do like the appeal of a bit of enemy freindly fire, but this game just has entirely to much, wait around a few seconds, and half the enemies will take the other half out, there were a lot of cool enemies with interesting attack patterns, and the ability to combo off eachother, but you don't really get to experince them, because everything already killed eachother

"Reinventing the Wheel (of Time)"
It's no Surprise that in the current state of High End Video Game Development, people are more yearning for the Halcyon days of the Sixth Generation of Vidya and Beyond. Back to the days when Adventures and Platformers reigned Supreme, and so Smaller Scale Devs are taking it upon themselves to grant that wish. One such Game is Duskfall, a really charming Action Adventure Platformer that takes its Roots and Inspirations from Old Legends such as Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter Legend of Zelda and so on, all wrapped up nicely in a High-Fantasy Long Post apocalyptic setting with a good smattering of Clockpunk. Duskfade is a Game who's story is Simple to a Fault; saving your Estranged Sister from a Foreboding Doomsday Tower with the help of a Small Mechanical Bird. Like I said, Simple; but does it well enough. Gameplay is in Three Elements of Traversal/Exploration, Collectathon and Hack & Slash, all with Ever-Evolving elements as the Game Progresses, which also demands you to return to earlier levels with newfound abilities to claim what you couldn't before, however the lack of a Usable Map means you have to Commit all that you have passed to Memory in order to return to them when you can. The art direction is quite evocative enough, traversing through Claderas, Broken Sky Citadels, Deserts Ravaged by Time, heck; there's even the Standard 2000's Beach Level. Character design is decent too. Zirian has enough of a Unique aspect of his own, as well as being Customisable with a few Nods from Historical Games. The Game is not Perfect though sadly, as I was able to figure out the Twist in literally the First 5 Minutes. So I was going through the game constantly waiting for the Metaphorical Trap to Spring. But I shall not mention it as I am aware this Game will be someone's "Kingdom Hearts" as in this game is possible to be Some Young Kids Life Changing Experience. Overall, Duskfade was a Game worth Waiting for and I do Genuinely look forward to seeing if Beluga Carries on with this IP.
