its good
Just completed the game, such a great journey and gameplay, enjoyed the exploration and combats ( on max difficulty bosses are quite challenging). Congratulation for the masterpiece and the artwork, lore are such great. If you like platform this is a must
I don't understand the negative reviews. Is this game perfect? No, but it scratches a platforming nostalgic itch. The art style and level design is stunning. The game play was fluid with no issues that I experienced. The story was heart warming albeit predictable. I think it was every bit worth the money and time put into it. It was just simple fun.

The best game i've played in a long time, the entire time i was playing it i was just hoping it wouldn't end, but now i have finished it and i can't recommend it enough, the main complaints in the reviews are about the combat; combat is servicable and gets more complex and fun as the game carries on. with that out of the way, the game FEELS incredible to play, the platforming is extremely smooth and fun, exploration is rewarded a lot, and it's genuinely one of the most beautiful games i've ever played, the art style is impeccable. the story is alright, a little childish but heartwarming at certain points, and it gets pretty serious too near the end, i did really like the characters, especially the cloudies around ticktown whose lives and worries progress as you progress in the game. everything about the world seems very dense and coherent, like a lot of thought and love went into making it. i'm usually not one to glaze but this game really left a big impression on me, it just feels like your mom took you to the store and bought you an expensive game you begged for, and you get home to spend days playing it and loving it because you got the full package, this game is a sprawling testament to what gaming used to be about, and what AAA gaming used to be, before the rats in suits took over. That is also exemplified in how well it's optimized, i didn't encounter a single bug throughout my playthrough, and the performance on ultra settings at 4k was crazy good, almost never had a frame skip and it stayed at a steady 120. it really is a solid 10/10 for me, especially considering the price if the devs are reading this, which i assume a small team will do, i do have some recommendations: The fonts in ticktown looks really out of place i'd like the glass shards to be shown at the teleport menu just like the ingots and cats etc. and it would be nice if there was a proper post-game, although the current solution is better than nothing.
Very impressive Indie 3D Platformer if you are into platforming check it out. Combat is kinda simple but the Bosses are fun!

was excited for this but what a let down
Recommended 8/10 If you're a fan of Kingdom Hearts or the PS2-era platformers like Jak and Daxter and Ratchet & Clank, I'd definitely recommend giving Dusk Fade a shot. I had a really fun time with it. The game has a cute, straightforward story, a bright and vivid world, and some really enjoyable movement and platforming. The environments are well-designed, and I especially liked that the boss fights incorporate platforming sections rather than making every encounter purely about combat. It makes the platforming feel like an important part of the overall game instead of something that's only used between fights. Combat starts out fairly simple, but it gets more interesting as you progress and unlock different enemy types. By the later levels, you're dealing with more varied combinations of enemies, which keeps things from getting stale. The collectibles were also fun to hunt down, and there's a good variety of them. Completing basically everything took me around 24 hours, with most of the post-game cleanup being collectible hunting. I also really liked the outfits, the coin/card system, and the overall charm of the game. A few things I'd love to see improved: Upgrade Gears: You end up with more gears than you actually need to unlock all the abilities. I like having some extras, but I'd love an optional way to spend those remaining gears — even if it's something completely unnecessary or cosmetic. Stained Glass tracking: Most collectibles have some sort of in-game tracking, but the Stained Glass pieces don't seem to have the same level of support. An in-game tracker would make completing them much less frustrating. Boss replay: I really wish there were a way to replay bosses on the same save file. There are only a handful of bosses, and an arena or boss-rush mode would be a perfect way to let players revisit them after finishing the game. It could even double as an enemy gauntlet using the different enemies you've encountered throughout the game. Money: By the end of the game I had basically hit the money cap with nothing left to spend it on. Raising the cap or adding some sort of endgame money sink would give players a reason to keep collecting it. Outfit/weapon shops: The outfit and weapon NPCs being on opposite ends of town isn't a huge deal, but it gets a little tedious when you're trying to change both. Having them closer together, or allowing equipment changes through a menu, would be a nice quality-of-life improvement. Arpeggio/music: I really liked the character and the idea of collecting music, but I found it disappointing that the music stops as soon as you leave his menu. I'd love to be able to select a track and then walk around Clock Town/Tick-Tock Town while listening to it. That would make the music collection feel much more worthwhile. I also ran into a couple of minor movement-related issues where I managed to get myself stuck inside/against the environment by moving at a weird angle or too quickly. Nothing that ruined the game for me, but it's something to keep an eye on. Overall, though, I had a great time with Dusk Fade. The movement is fun, the platforming is enjoyable, the combat gets better as you progress, and the world has a lot of charm. It feels like a love letter to that era of 3D platformers while still having its own identity. Definitely recommended if you're into that style of game.
So good so far! great platforming and a real KH feel to it! scratching an itch forsure!
Jak and Daxter was one of my favorite games growing up. If you like that or Ratchet and Clank, Duskfade will feel familiar and refreshing,
