Cooler Action Plattformer. Erstaunlich Emotional.
For the discounted price point of 23,99€ getting to play a decent size game that whilst not being perfectly polished had me running through the game and collecting everything in 20 or so hours. Like other comments say it's heavily influenced by R&C, Kingdom Hearts, Jak & Daxter and others. Also the main character kinda looks like Treasure Planet mc. Don't expect perfection or something super serious, compared to previously mentioned games this feels more for a lack of a better word - childish or is perhaps targeted to a younger audience while having some memes/references for the experienced. Biggest minus for the fact that I managed to bug out the Tailord and not being able to complete my final steam achievement "The mask of pain" because it didn't save my outfits for the last two sets even though I bought all of them and now cant buy the needed set for the achievement cause I'm out of Dye. Might start new game for relief or delete game out of spite. :-) 8/10
its good
Just completed the game, such a great journey and gameplay, enjoyed the exploration and combats ( on max difficulty bosses are quite challenging). Congratulation for the masterpiece and the artwork, lore are such great. If you like platform this is a must
I don't understand the negative reviews. Is this game perfect? No, but it scratches a platforming nostalgic itch. The art style and level design is stunning. The game play was fluid with no issues that I experienced. The story was heart warming albeit predictable. I think it was every bit worth the money and time put into it. It was just simple fun.
The best game i've played in a long time, the entire time i was playing it i was just hoping it wouldn't end, but now i have finished it and i can't recommend it enough, the main complaints in the reviews are about the combat; combat is servicable and gets more complex and fun as the game carries on. with that out of the way, the game FEELS incredible to play, the platforming is extremely smooth and fun, exploration is rewarded a lot, and it's genuinely one of the most beautiful games i've ever played, the art style is impeccable. the story is alright, a little childish but heartwarming at certain points, and it gets pretty serious too near the end, i did really like the characters, especially the cloudies around ticktown whose lives and worries progress as you progress in the game. everything about the world seems very dense and coherent, like a lot of thought and love went into making it. i'm usually not one to glaze but this game really left a big impression on me, it just feels like your mom took you to the store and bought you an expensive game you begged for, and you get home to spend days playing it and loving it because you got the full package, this game is a sprawling testament to what gaming used to be about, and what AAA gaming used to be, before the rats in suits took over. That is also exemplified in how well it's optimized, i didn't encounter a single bug throughout my playthrough, and the performance on ultra settings at 4k was crazy good, almost never had a frame skip and it stayed at a steady 120. it really is a solid 10/10 for me, especially considering the price if the devs are reading this, which i assume a small team will do, i do have some recommendations: The fonts in ticktown looks really out of place i'd like the glass shards to be shown at the teleport menu just like the ingots and cats etc. and it would be nice if there was a proper post-game, although the current solution is better than nothing.
