It's a fun game with neat combat mechanics and cool characters, I highly recommend :)
Masterpiece, perfect if you like the characters of Rivals of Aether 1/2
this game is like a really smart boardgame for one person, though smoother brained players like me will still wanna keep going for the game's spectacular presentation and some actually hype moments in the story. a lot of people complain that there's too much defense in fights which I can understand isn't for everyone though I'm not sure what you expect from a turn based game where everything's health ranges from 2 to 4 points.
Great game! Very slick art, simple but unique and clever mechanics, challenging, decent variety among the characters. Short and sweet. Definitely recommend!
It's good.
A keeper for sure, especially if you love the "Aether verse" lore, and that slammin' soundtrack, especially the battle songs!
An okay idea, just not executed very well. I found it fun for at least a few hours, but beyond that point all that you're doing is just spending an annoying amount of time cycling through turns so that eventually the opponent's ai makes a dumb mistake and you can manage to safely get a single hit in. The early combat is fun but too simple. The later combat is boring. Unfortunately, there isn't much of a solid middle-ground. The art style and music are fantastic, and I do appreciate that instead of just being a generic rogue-lite game that it has a bit of a narrative and campaign progression to go along with it. It's clear that people did put genuine effort into this game. I just wish that I could really whole-hearted recommend it as a fantastic game, but I can't. It was fine for like a couple dollars basically.
What an incredible soundtrack! Art is also great, and the writing is delightful. And unlike many "pixel art" games, this one actually fully respects the low resolution, instead of low resolution artwork on a high resolution canvas.
