Ne pas acheter (ni offrir...) !
Got this game because it was on sale for 89 cents knowing it was a dead in the water project. After playing for a couple hours with the lack of any tutorial or real ability to challenge yourself in the game i decided it wasn't even worth the meager 89 cents. The difficulty setting for offline solo missions have no bearing on making the game more or less challenging and the enemies are uninteresting. its basically a walk around and hold the mouse button kind of game.
This might be fun if you had some friends to play with and the difficulty/rewards changed, but in solo play, I lost more to "Walked into lava because you can't tell where the edge of the screen is and you can't climb back up" than I did to any enemies, and the reward system felt from the beginning like I was in for a long grind. For $0.89, it was a better investment than a candy bar, but not by a lot.
Tl;Dr: Presently the game is a buggy mess. So I start the game, get over how horrible the UI looks, press Esc to open menu. Hit Options, go to audio, mess with things there, sound cuts out.... restart, try again, same result, give up, try to mess with graphics (to remove motion blur), can't mess with graphics (there's no actual graphical settings, just presets), give up, try to actually play the damn thing. Wander around the spawn for longer than i care to admit, finally know where everything is (except the missions), figure out that the help menu shows you where points of interest are, try and use it to find missions, the pathing breaks (the line reaches a corner, turns 180 degrees, reaches another corner and repeats), get annoyed, finally find missions, start a "single mission thing" (can't remember what it's actually called). Mission starts, select a mission (no i didn't have a stroke, the game asks you what mission you wanna play after you load a selected mission type), choose the first one, start playing, get shot at (by huge ass, slow ass projectiles), kill the thing shooting at me, reach some floating rocks, get damaged by the space between the rock and the platform, figure out they're not just decoration, start getting annoyed at the camera because it doesn't turn with the character, open options-controls, find out camera turns with "q" and "e", start turning camera, get a bit dizzy (the camera turns slowly, motion blur is still a thing), reach more enemies, realize melee enemies can't hit you if you backpedal a bit (and i mean a bit), die to a floating rock 'cause I wasn't paying attention, respawn, loose half my health to the same rock while spawning (you can't move while respawning but you can take damage), complete mission. Start another mission (on hard this time), mission starts, select a mission (still no stroke), notice that the sub(?) mission info says easy, try selecting another one, it still says easy, ignore it and assume it's wrong, start playing, realize the enemies are just reskins (some have more health but that's all, even the projectiles are just recollors), get confused by map layout, open map, close map because it's useless (it has less info on it than the damn minimap), get ganked by some bats, kill most bats, realize one of them is invincible, realize it can't shoot you either (yes bats can shoot, keep up), figure out all this is happening because the bat spawned on a higher elevation (on pure nothing, mind you, there are no higher sections), question why elevation even is a thing, leave the bat alone, get shot in the back because the bat found a ladder or something, realize it didn't do much damage, kill bat, wonder if the sub(?) mission info didn't lie after all, complete mission. That all happened in half an hour (ish). Maybe try this game after it's not a tech demo anymore.
super bland and uninteresting. very unfortunate
Empty levels, too high Bloom and way too easy enemies. I wasn't even able to gain the rewards after the objective got completed on high difficulty without getting a single hit on the first playthrough ever. It just was a full functioning but empty screen without the possibility to click or open anything, stuck in a whole lot of nothing, seeing the place I just teleported away automatically. There are better games. Your time is more worth than that.
Abandoned Game. Dont waste your money on this scam!
