I've always been a huge fan of action RPG games as well as turn based tactical games - so it was important to me to create a game with a pacing that I enjoyed and that so many games seem to miss. Dungeoneer is intended to play at a slightly slower pace than most action RPG games, aiming to reduce button mashing while being visually appealing and immersive. Combat is heavily inspired by Runescape and World of Warcraft, where ability rotation and stat optimization heavily influences gameplay.

After further advancement in testing the game: 7/10 The game itself for me feels more like an early version of Eon Altar mashed up with the old school Lineage I. Controlled with keyboard and mouse. Positive for me that the game gets fixes approx fast, and the community is nice, still negative the accessable area count is medium or so. Not a flawless piece, as it isn't bug-less, but i'll keep an eye on it in the future. It might become a great game some day.
For something in early development I think personally the dev should focus on refine and adding core features to the game such as character custimization such as adding females to the game as a option and making the playing experience smoother for the player I dont like clicking constantly to do thing abilites are fine but attacking can be tiresome. I will be keeping an eye on this game but I think I will allow the people who have played it longer than me help you shape it better than I would. 1.Buy it if you want to help the dev make this game and improve on it. 2.it's a measly 10$ the only people who are going to complain about that are kids with gift cards no offense. 3.Just go play path of exile or other games like this no one is forcing you to pay or play.
Edit: 9-1-2025 The game seems very much improved from what I remembered and I can play it comfortably now. It's a keeper. Edit: 5-16-2024 Two years later and still no option to customize keybindings. Very uncomfortable. Game returned. Edit: 5-21-2022 I would like to come back to this because of recent updates but there's still no custom key bindings and I'm a left handed user rendering this unplayable for me. When I see an update for keybinds I'll try this out again. (Original Post) I can't customize keys. Can only play as a male character. I'll try back later.
Nope, sorry guys, can't join on LAN. When I created my character and joined my husband, I was a male not a female as I had made.
A neat little game in the early stages of development from a single developer, i've had alot of fun with it that it currently has to offer. I am really looking forward to future updates and having alot of fun :)! A BIG PLUS the developer is very active on discord with the community listenting to all of the feedback, ideas, and issues the game currently has and let's not forget the quick uppdates! Have a lookout for this game, once completed it will be a good one for sure <3!
game is basically good but its too early for play,
Right now, the game is a concept; but i see a potential in the concept. I really believe it can have great future ahead, i'll be watching. There are updates and fixes nearly every day. I hope and i really hope that they keep focused and don't dream too big and take simple steps.
Too broken to play at this stage. In multiplayer your coop partner character model seems to be 2 different models glitching into each other and the host character's clothes and gear are clipping into his body - it looks terrible and we tried restarting the game, different player hosting etc. but just gave up because running into something this glaring and bad right at the start of the game usually means there's gamebreaking bugs somewhere down the line. Oh and in the developer response they basically called me a liar for pointing out what I describe above by calling it 'inaccurate' then later in the same response acknowledges that there is an issue like that, tf.
It's not bad at all.
Really cool game, don't really see a lot of games like this. Dev seems pretty involved and active too.
