What is this beautiful hidden gem? I love this game so much. I am a sucker for Otome games with female leads and actual game play especially combat, puzzle solving and the whole nine yards. Some of the games that stuck with me from childhood is games like Suikoden, Final Fantasy, Fantasian Neo Dimenson and the reason why was because of how the world felt and how you can dive into your companion stories learning so much of who they are. This game is everything I remember I loved AND! I can be a female protagonist. The characters are wonderful, they have such life. You get to support them through problems in multiple different ways, and depending your history or what you do or don't do you can even lose out on some pretty amazing companions. I already messed up my first play through and will need to play it again a few more times to really see everything this game has to offer. Now that my gushing is over let's go into the pros and cons. Pros - Wonderful companions and great story - The dungeon crawling doesn't get boring as you get surprise story lines as you dive through time and again will different companions - The skill trees are a lot of fun to build out and combine together - That price point (I already see myself booking over 100 hours on this, and the other reviews show the same) - Reasonable aged Characters you can romance (over 30 years old, that's great - and yes I'm including the elves with ??? age) Cons - This is me being picky, but I can't romance Phidias. Hurts my heart - It's an RPG maker game so limited capabilities in what the team can really accomplish, though I still believe the game went over and beyond Long story short - if you're looking for a wonderful game that can make fun of itself, bring humor but also intense story lines. A little Otome RPG with some romance if you desire - give this game a try. I will go back and buy the first one, and already wish listed the next. Amazing job.
I just don't like the idea of playing the son of the hero from the first game, it's just my personal preference. Edit: I got clowned for voicing my opinion on a game I bought >:(, if nepo baby is your ideal hero to play, who am I to stop you
Dungeon diving and building relationships, including romantic ones with your companions as the child of your character from the last game? Yes please.
Thanks for the game! It was very fun and I really like to know Azure's world.
Nice choice of party members, great customization, pretty good for the asking price.

This game hits a lot of good notes you'd want for a good price. It has good combat, a good job/class design, good dating sim, good story, and of course good art.
Awesome
party-based, turn-based JRPG with branching job classes, plenty of loot and interesting blend of dungeon delving plus social sim. Writing is good, art is nice, too. I'm enjoying the characters and their dialog so far. The dungeon delving is satisfying - I don't play enough games today that have you going far with limited and dwindling resources, putting the responsibility on you to know when to turn around versus risk going further - and that's a really strong concept for dungeon-delving. The game also does nothing to stop me from patiently grinding - which is exactly what I want to to. Love it. I'm not far in yet, but I enjoy this. For downsides/gripes so far - my controller works, but Im not finding it intuitive to make the d-pad work for this game rather than just analog stick. If there's a way, I just didn't see it. Other than that, I would prefer greater customization of the player character Azure - but the selections you get already by selecting your parents and picking either sibling is not bad. I know there's only so much customization that can be done in a game relying on portraits and sprites, and frankly this game is doing a great job of it - Still, I'll always ask for more.
