Not worth it. The game is discontinued and hasnt recieved any update since 2023. I probably wouldnt buy this even if it went on a 99% sale.
Instead of tower defense, gameplay turns more into defend the balls type of game. Towers are now abilities to use that disappear after some time. Combat using your skills and mashing buttons mostly. Everyone will play with same looking characters, no customization. Gain levels to unlock new characters, 7 heroes in total. Choose loadout which frankly is limited, most characters have 2 abilities to choose from in each group (first unlock them of course). No players online, huge drawback. Visuals are good but gameplay could've been much better. Soundtrack, nothing to complain. Not necessarily a bad game, it just doesn't compare to rest of the series. Downgrade from Dungeon Defenders 1 and 2. Overall big fudge in your face. Removing from library.
This is honestly a pretty good game, it does have a couple of bugs, but still very much playable. The only thing that would make this game a really good game is if the developers didn't leave this game and actually kept updating it.
"How bad could it possibly be?" You can't rebind many of the keys, nor are they listed in the keybinds. Towers have a duration before they die. Enemies sprint across the map at speeds that feel like playing survival in DD1 without speed debuffs. Ogre somehow runs even faster than the guys in front of them, too. That I found so many issues in 22 minutes, the first of which was apparent within the first run. Ohh, and Squire can't block, and they for some reason thought it wise to only allow you to use him at first. Not, say, a ranged character? Ohh, and berserker isn't in the game. The character tailor made for not using towers... in a game that you can barely use towers. Need I even begin to say how silly that is? I got the game 90% off. 1.50 USD. I still have to wonder if I have been ripped off.
Grafisch Gut - gefällt mir. Inhaltlich halt für 6-jährige. Lasst es lieber bleiben.
Me and 3 friends, with varying specs (amd/nvidia/intel) crash 90% of the time before round 10. It is absurd to release a game this broken. Either fix your game or remove it from steam. I have hundreds of hours in other dungeon defenders games, and this is the worst experience so far. Give me my dollar back so I can spend it on tylenol
For a $1.50 definitely worth it it's a fun take on the original game. If you like roguelikes that is
its bland
would rather jerk my ♥♥♥♥ with sandpaper to scat porn on a monday
not a tower game and just more of the sale old stuff resold to people.
