Dungeon Core is a roguelite top-down shooter where you get to explore the sewers and beyond to ultimately reach an old underground research facility. Old nuclear waste has caused dangerous mutations in creatures due to a failed experiment. You set out to destroy the abandoned nuclear core.

is this an old school flash game?, if not, this is a joke. it has potential but thats it, there are only like 10 guns and 15 items and 4 bosses in the game. metaprogress is done really badly, and the hitbox of the character is the worst. dont waste your money on this crap.
I don't get the point of this game.. It's an almost exact copy of Enter the Gungeon, just much worse, with plain weapons, boring enemies, and unimaginative progression. At least they realized ammo is a silly concept - the one positive about this game.
THIS GAME IS A GREAT ADVERTISEMENT FOR ROGUELIKES/ROGUELITES Dungeon Core is in many ways like Enter The Gungeon. A cute little top down dungeon crawler with roguelike elements sprinkled in. It borrows from ETG in a few aspects with the shop and the overall feel but it does many things equal or better. Sure you could find a "super rare" gun but if its only rated D and you've got a weapon rated B is it worth swapping out? Then you have to think about the tech upgrades you have +10 health and +25% shot power to +50% reload time it really can be a difficult choice to make. It has kept me coming back for over 7 hours so far. (I only recently bought it) and it'll keep me interested for many more. Also its pretty good because you can leave things in rooms and come back to them after clearing the floor without having to worry about some stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rat stealing your ammo crate. (There is no ammo, you literally have unlimited ammo)
A fun twin stick roguelike in the style of Nuclear Throne. One of my favorite touches is how you can upgrade many aspects of future runs by visiting the hub world vendors. Do you want more starting health? Are you hoping for more tech to drop from smashed terminals (this game's cash) or even better layouts? There are vendors up top that can permanently increase these aspects for a price.
Disclaimer: As a content creator I received a free copy of this game from a colleague. I'd recommend this game twice if I could. Adorable roguelike with some real progression built right in. I'd recommend this to anyone that likes games such as Enter The Gungeon, Children of Morta, Risk of Rain, etc.
It's been a long time since i played a top-down shooter of any kind. That being said I've been enjoying this one in short bursts - short since I aparently suck at top-down shooters these days... Really enjoy the visuals, controls and theme of the game. Would like some more weapon customization/upgrades.
Nuclear Throne for children who can't boss rush good and wanna loop and do other stuff good too.
This game is really fun, every update is really great!
Great game very fun!!!
I'll change my review to positive when I can play with a controller. I like to play these types of games with controller, but currently there is a game breaking bug/glitch that happens when using a controller. The character continues to move in the same direction you started until your gun's mag is empty. So you can end up walking into a pit, running right into danger, etc. In fact, it happens to a smaller extent even with the semi-auto weeapons. To be clear the game would be like 8/10 if not for this game breaking issue. So in its current state I cannot play. FYI I'm not the only person to post about this in discussions.
