About
Dune: Awakening is an epic Open World Survival Game where you get to fully immerse yourself in one of science fiction’s most iconic worlds.
You have been chosen by the Bene Gesserit to go to Arrakis as their agent and uncover the mystery of the missing Fremen. Visit locations such as Arrakeen and Hagga Basin and meet familiar characters such as Duke Leto Atreides and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, as you unravel an epic Dune story never told before: yours.
Whether you prefer to play alone or with friends, Dune: Awakening gives you the opportunity to explore a vast, open world Arrakis brimming with secrets to discover, stories to investigate, gadgets to craft, vehicles to assemble, and bases to build. You choose which path to take as you rise from survival to greatness.
Avoid the roaming sandworms. Seek shadows to stay out of the scorching sun. Study the slow blade or learn to master the powers of the Mentat and Bene Gesserit. Build a modest home or a massive base and decorate it to reflect your character’s unique personality. Climb mountains or craft your ornithopter and take to the skies.
Dune: Awakening gives you a living, breathing Dune on a scale never seen before.
Discover a dynamic and immersive Arrakis, from the rolling sand dunes of the Deep Desert to hidden Fremen caves and the bustling city streets of Arrakeen. Climb towering mountains with the Shigawire hook and fly across sandworm-infested deserts in an ornithopter you built yourself. Escape the destructive might of the massive sandstorms towering above you as they sweep across the landscape, then take a quiet moment to witness the beauty of Arrakis when the sun is low.
In Dune: Awakening, you get to step into the books and movies and experience one of science fiction’s most incredible worlds up close. Join the Atreides or the Harkonnen and rise through their ranks as you explore their unique stories. Meet familiar characters such as Duke Leto and Feyd-Rautha, investigate the mysterious disappearance of the Fremen, and discover the truth about your own past. Unravel an epic, cinematic Dune story that asks the mind-bending question: what if Paul Atreides was never born?
Arrakis is a test that few survive. Those who do, awaken. Learn to survive the unique climate of Arrakis, chasing shade and extracting liquid from the bodies of your enemies to refine it into water. Study the teachings of the Schools of the Imperium to unlock a powerful repertoire of abilities, weapons, and tools. Wield the Trooper’s unparalleled firepower, use the Bene Gesserit voice to control your enemies, deploy the Mentat’s deceptive traps, or master the Swordmaster’s unique dance of death.
Carve out your own piece of Arrakis and build your personal base of operations. From small outposts to elaborate and towering strongholds, build everything piece-by-piece in the Atreides or Harkonnen style, or any of the other available architectural styles, and decorate it to reflect your personality. Equip it with powerful crafting machines and spice refineries and watch your power and fortune grow. Craft anything from useful desert-survival gadgets to entire vehicles such as ground cars and ornithopters.
Play alone, with friends, or head into the wider world filled with hundreds of other players and engage in the politics of Arrakis. Host your own server, rent one from a third-party provider, or play on an official server. A full single-player mode will arrive on September 22nd, along with many other additions and improvements.

I quit playing this game awhile ago when they had an unannounced server restart that resulted in my losing all my equipment to the sandworm. I seen they "added" single player. It hasn't even implemented just false advertisement. Do not but they are just desperate grasping at straws for player retention/on-boarding.

So let me start off with this game is cool. Dune is a great IP and I'm glad that this game exists to experience that. But- It just- its just to sucks play. Just straight up sucks. The early game is not fun. Its tedious, and excessively grindy, and overall, it just runs like absolute dog-crap. I'm running at around recommended pc specs, at the lowest graphics, and it just runs bad. Cutscenes just break, NPC dialogue almost crashes my game every time. The grind is just not fun. Its not fun to deal with. I came into the game wanting to fly a freaking ornithopter. And guess what. Almost 20 hours in, and I still don't have one. The only reason I played this long (at the time of this review) is because of that. Genuinely one of the most unfun experiences to any early game I've ever played. Gathering the resources for ANYTHING is just so insane. There is no reason I need to spend 4 hours of resource gathering for a single weapon/tool. And don't say "Oh but snax, you just need to go to the spots for those resources," Yeah, I'm sure its fun with your thopter flying around and getting millions of items around the map. I've only NOW just gotten the mark 2 bike. And maybe it's just a genuine skill issue on my end, but its not fun spending 30 minutes to get to one spot on the map for one singular resource. AND THE DURABILITY. It's just not fun to deal with! I'm fine with spending resources to fix my tools and vehicles, but it being "broke" is not fun. It would be fine if it didn't cost 15 iron ingots and 4 Emf Generators to make it again. If the durability just didn't lessen it would be perfectly fine. The water and stats are fine, the water can drain maybe just a bit slower, because it just feels like its never full, and the health could be better with more regen. Maybe I'll leave a better review if I get farther in the game, but so far, I'd say so far my experience with this game is a solid 4/10.
Не интересно, скучно, быстро надоедает
I have played almost every Dune game over the years, and in my opinion, Dune: Awakening is the best one so far. The story doesn't follow Frank Herbert's original timeline, and as a longtime Dune fan I wasn't completely sold on that choice at first. However, once you accept that it's an alternate version of the universe, the game becomes much easier to appreciate. One of its greatest strengths is that you can play solo and progress at your own pace. It may take longer to reach your goals than if you play in a guild, but everything is achievable with patience and dedication. I never felt forced to rush or rely on other players. The atmosphere is outstanding. Arrakis feels dangerous, alive, and faithful to the spirit of Dune. Base building, exploration, crafting, and survival all fit naturally into the setting. No game is perfect, but if you're a Dune fan or enjoy survival games, this is an easy recommendation. It captures the feeling of living on Arrakis better than any previous Dune game I've played.
not as expected :(
Over 200 hours in and there are still things to do and build. You just need to be patient and find things to do in the game. I can't wait for the next chapter to be released!
Quit taking all my item durability away when i die. The most annoying ♥♥♥♥ ever. Besides that i love the game
Много багов и вылетов.
1200 часов поисков чего-то хорошего в игре. Назвать разработчиков бездарными — это сделать им комплимент. Всё гораздо хуже. 1 из 10.
