Fun idea, I thought this would be this game's moment to shine, given Vampire Survivors' sudden rise to glory, as it offers similar "just move, auto shoot" gameplay, with the twist of weapons synced with cool dubstep music. But came back to it to find the game won't even start anymore and devs apparently abandoned the project. So don't buy this.

Game doesn't launch when i hit play. Is there any way to play this on new systems?

ok so after reading a few reviews for this game i'm going to be straight out with you all, i'll also leave a smaller summary at the bottom for people who just want to skip it all. Is this game worth it? Yes Is the game hard? Yes and No, the more appropriate question would be does this game have a learning curve? Yes, Is it an easy learning curve? Also yes. The more you play the levels the more you will get used to the RHYTHM of the MUSIC for the level, imho don't let the reviews fool you but there is some truth behind them. The gameplay is basic you get wubs (currency) that you use to upgrade your attacks each attack is tied to a certain beat that triggers your ships weaponry and you kill the enemies that appear on said levels based on the beat of the music, the entire basis of this game is timing, you need to time your shots and you need know the beat of the music to know what shots are going to appear, you need to balance dodging enemies as well as knowing what your next attack is going to be, some people might like this and some wont but to me this game would be like every other top down game with just music playing in the background as you defeat enemies if you could fire whenever you wanted, it doesn't add a challenge. The game can seem short once you get all the levels down and it comes down to replayability but overall its worth the price compared to other games you could get. I do highly recommend you play with a controller but it is entirely possible to play this game (and to completion) using a keyboard and mouse just takes a lot of skill and that's what makes this game great, that feeling you get when you complete a level from start to end after the many retries you had to do. short summary here, While the game may have some faults to some people its very well flushed out and the self reward for completion is really good, this is a rythm game after all and its mostly well, dubstep (obvious but some people seem to miss the "Dub" part in the name) it may seem short but you will rack in a few hours playing every level and trying to defeat as many enemies as possible.

I got this game about 2 years ago in 2022 and when I got it, it didn't work at the time. Thankfully someone found a fix around that problem and now I am able to play it. I've known about this game since the kickstarter and I only played the demo once a long time ago. Since then I've been wanting to play this game for the longest time but couldn't because I didn't own a computer or laptop at the time. So when I did finally get a computer, I got this game back in 2022, when I got it I was disappointed that it didn't work at that time. Now that it works and I've been able to finally play the game I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite games of all time. It's a shame that the game is no longer being developed because I see a lot of potential in it. I love the concept, it reminds me of a game called Asteroids but with Dubstep music and I love that the game goes with the music. The only thing that I wish was added to the game was to give the ability to players to mod/create their own levels and mod their own enemies and ships. I think allowing players to do this would've kept the game going. I hope that one day there will be a Dub Wars 2 or that this game continues to be worked on at some point. As an EDM/Dubstep Artist myself, I would've loved to be in a game like this and I think others would as well. As of writing this, I've only played the game for 2 days but I will continue to play it for a long time. For those of you who read this far, try the game for yourself and if you have, I hope you like it as much as I do.

not good, i love the concept but, not being able to fire when you want is infuriating. maybe firing on the beat doing more damage would be more fun, a la Chroma
