Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Really poorly optimized. Critical bugs persisted even two months after release. Parts of the game feel like an asset flip, for example most npcs are stationary and just loop one animation. Most things that made DDS1 a masterpiece did not make it into this game. Things like durg mixing, the atmosphere or even the suspense of running from cops. The DDS1 map felt more alive and well polished. It feels like most of this games budget was spent on the map and the gameplay was added just because they had to release something. Now that Schedule 1 is out, this game is just a straight downgrade.

I played over 100 hours of this game and STILL never finished the entire game because I didn't feel like playing anymore... I "cheated" by editing hostility levels and stealing millions of dollars worth of resources from the military, bought the warehouse lab and fully stocked it, unlocked every area in the game, have more dealers and customers than I could ever manage alone....and yet feel zero sense of accomplishment? Like the "End Game" is a buy a mansion and the sh*tty casino which was highway robbery to make as a DLC? Why not just make a bigger, better version of the first game with some different characters? You could've probably reused assets from DDS1 that way too. Instead of giving us ocean and a boat why not just give us a drivable car in a city? I love Eddie as a character from both games, and I was excited when this game was announced...but it honestly was disappointing that the richness of the story and gameplay loop gets slightly ignored because everyone is so hyperfixated on the PvE elements. I personally don't give a sh*t about shooting, stabbing, or punching any cops or gang members, because if I want PvP or PvE action I won't play a sim game. I understand why people think it's stupid to not feature it in a game with gangs and police, but I mean if you deal drugs IRL you won't be beating or killing people that often LOL My point is, I don't think it's necessary for "realism" to make you a psycho murderer because LOTS of normal people deal tons of drugs and don't go on killing sprees. I think it makes sense in this game because he's working for dangerous cartels on an island, but fans need to stop demanding PvE elements and guns so that we can actually have a GOOD story-rich DDS game. Like "Lord Von Games" said in his review, "just do better with DDS3" and stop biting off more than you can chew, because you end up looking like borderline scammers when you make a trailer like this one and produce the game you did, then have the nerve to ask for MORE money for a DLC? YIKES and this is coming from a 100+ hour fan in BOTH games sooooo this is as real as criticism gets sistah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Soulless, lacks anything the original had. Fired the original development team with no notice. Do not support Movie Games S.A. DDS1 is so much better. Play the original or Schedule 1
This is an excellent example how a to f up a sequel of a really decent game. Big disappointment overall and people changing into leafs after a delivery is just cringe. Do not buy.
It's more lazily put together than less thought out than the original - worse performance, for the same style stock assets and NPC's that feel like they were just bought on the Unity store and forced to make work. The gameplay is very uninspiring and feels more like run around and try to meet time limit simulator as opposed to actually creating and distributing drugs. A walking simulator is inexcusable when the world is bland with little to explore. Play the original if its on sale, or play Schedule I for a better experience.
Me compré DDS1 y DDS2 para que sus promesas acabaran cumpliéndose gracias a Schedule. 0 apoyo, han alargado los proyectos +5 años para entregarnos siempre un producto incompleto
basicly 0 updates. dev was more motivated to try sue other devs then fixing the game

Kinda regret buying and not returning it but i hoped they would improve the game, in reality it was so bad at launch i haven't played it since because it left a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ taste in my mouth. The first game was executed perfectly, loved it from the start and played it several hours but this is a downgrade. They tried so hard to make it do everything so it kinda sucks at everything and nothing is executed well, the world itself feels like a fever dream because the lighting is weird. When it came out u could buy a skooter and i thought that u could drive it but nooooo it only lets u quick travel so certain points which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my opinion. If u want a good realistic drug dealing game buy the first one.
