DREAMGATE

Im a great fan of games of this genre, so even though the reviews in this were all over the place, I gave it a shot at a nice sale for 4 euro. After playing a few rounds and beating the game with 1 char on normal mode, I feel...meh... The game feels soulless, like they took a textbook on how to make a RPG deckbuilder and did exactly that, no more no less. I'm pretty sure I will play a few more games to try out the different heroes, but its just not that interesting to play, nor to unlock any of the roguelike upgrades. Overall 5/10, buy only on good sale and if you've already finished the better games in this genre.

I like the strategy element in the game. It keeps me coming back to play it and collect gold to unlock new stuff.

Honestly? I did not think much of Dreamgate, when I started it. I play on Mac and there are just not a lot of games that you can play. After spending A LOT of time in Slay the Spire I tried this. It was fun. After 1-2 years I found it again and boy, it still is a lot of fun. This is not the most complex game you will ever play. But there are tons of things to do, a lot of characters and combinations. And it is "easy to learn, hard to beat".

Another EA abandoned game. :(

It turns out this game is much more fun that I expected. Lots of interesting and original mechanics compared to StS/Monster Train and the like, such as: - Rewards Gold cards that clutter your deck until you deposit them - Many powerful one-charge cards that could clutter your deck if you keep them for too long - Hand/draw/discard that stays between fights Of course you also have your lot of wildly different strategies that work well (and thin deck is far from being an obvious choice), and heroes which play very differently. I'm far from having unlocked everything, but so far I'm enjoying this a lot. My only (minor) concern is that I'd look forward to have one or two more chapters after (or just before) the final boss (easier than it looks for now, as on the final camp all you have to do is to prepare for that single boss combat - out with all the cards that are boss-restricted for example). A true hidden gem that I hope will continue to be expanded and that is definitely worth the time and money of any deckbuilder fan, even if it hasn't the audience of StS/MT (yet?).

打折时买来不错，可惜牌组差距不大。后面刷经验，解锁最后一个英雄真是无聊。。整体评价，还不错。
