First I want to say if you want to try this game do the demo first. Even tho I enjoy the gameplay it kinda left me feeling lackluster I'm not sure if it the story, inconsistent art ,and the gameplay itself and it feels unfinished so I can't really recommend this game.
level for was really difficult and extremely irritating, but the game is ok in its own way.
A simple but interesting platformer, if not just for the solid gameplay, for the gallery scenes that you unlock through progress. The obvious coments aside, this game is surprisingly a good lesson on how to tell a story through gameplay, with unexpected situations and dialogue in almost every level and between them. And as a plus, you can pull quite a few techs once you learn how the game works, specially the combos and physics. It's cheap, it's well done (despite some minor glitches I came across), and has a nice message if you pay attention to the story. Totally worth a try.
So I got this game through a giveaway and honestly, I think the game is pretty well made. The main thing that stood out was the gameplay. It was very fast paced and getting combos to help me speed through the level felt very satisfying in some levels. It almost felt like Celeste with a coat of Devil May Cry paint. The art for the game is very well done, both the pixel sprites and the regular art and the gallery was a nice addition to the main game even if I myself am not crazy about NSFW art. I think the story itself was interesting but I feel like the themes of the game were a little confusing. Maybe on a second playthrough I could understand better but I found myself a little puzzled towards the ending of the game, wondering what certain things represented for the MC. Even with that though, I still thoroughly enjoyed the game and I can't wait to try out any other games this dev has/will make.
tl;dr: The game feels like it's incomplete and gets very boring very fast. I went into this game with little expectations. I figured that I would go in blind and see what it was like. The previews made me think that it might be enjoyable to play and it was...for about three levels. By the time I finished the second world and was halfway through the third, I knew that this game wouldn't be offering anything new or exciting. The combat is bland. Very bland. You would think that a game like this would have flashy, fun combos that you could unlock as you progress through the game. But no. You only get one move to buy from the store and that's it. Everything else is health and damage upgrades. I've played flash games on sites like Newgrounds that were more stylish and in-depth with their combat system than this game. Story was pretty forgettable and a bit nonsensical as well. I honestly couldn't tell you what the hell was even going on or remember what the MC's name is even is. Character development is practically nonexistent here. Level design starts off okay, but then becomes very annoying once you reach world 4. The worst level by far has got to be the auto-scrolling level. The game throws a lot of enemies at you at this point in the game and you get a significant, but temporary speed boost the more your combo meter fills. This is fun on levels with flat surfaces and few pitfalls, but in worlds 4-5 where the levels have you jumping a lot with little room to move, it just becomes a massive pain in the ass. Not only that, but the auto-scrolling level takes forever given how you're forced to move a steady pace, so that sucks major ass. Thankfully, it's the only one in the entire game. Lastly, the artwork. The artwork in the gallery is unlocked by defeating the boss levels in each world and completing the optional challenges for certain levels in the game. I didn't mind the challenges and I thought the artwork was decent. HOWEVER, I have ask just one simple, little question: Why in the world do the challenges need to be bought in the store before they become active? That just doesn't make much sense to me. All in all, this game was pretty lackluster with what felt like a lot of wasted potential behind it.
This is not a good game. It COULD be, but it lacks a lot of polish. The combat system lacks depth The physics mechanics are inconsistent Animations are lackluster The artstyles are inconsistent The dubstep was honestly the best part of this game just because it got a laugh out of me.
I thought this game as far as platforming and fighting mechanics were very good, much like a game that requires some level of skill to get through as well as fighting. It also had a phenomenal sound track, the final boss music when so hard. However, the game as far as sexual content was severely lacking, and with how few sex interactions there were in this game could make you forget you are even playing a porn game. I was thoroughly disappointed by this, so take my review with that perspective. I feel like this could have been so much better of a sex game if we had sexual interactions with common enemies during gameplay.
