First off, the soundtrack is amazing. I would like to say that each track perfectly encapsulates the game flow of each level. Secondly, I love the NSFW scenes. They're brief but extremely well drawn. Haley's character design definitely makes me feel things. Platforming is tight, and I love the speed and jump boost from maintaining combos. Just a couple damage upgrades and unlocking the whole moveset allowed me to sweep through each map like a storm through a field of dandelions. Combat is simplistic, but from a platformer it's more than sufficient. I only made it part of the way through world 4 (out of 5 apparently) but I look forward to finishing Dreamcutter tomorrow. Dreamcutter is apparently quite a short game, but it's clearly made with love. I cannot endorse it enough. It's been worth every penny so far. Cons: I had one crash during the first boss fight and one of the levels the music dropped out when I went back to do a side objective. Very minor stuff. There's a really simple trick to the nightmare orbs, if you're having difficulty with them you're approaching things very wrong. Once you figure it out they're incredibly easy. Overall I give this game a solid 9/10 for what its trying to accomplish, I literally played until my hand started hurting because I was having so much fun.
Poor graphics, clunky controls and hellish hitboxes. Also, I don't even know why it's rated NSFW, there's no content whatsoever. Pass.
It's fun
A fun game where you can seriously gain some momentum, keeping a combo going and still fighting to stay on the path is definitely part of the challenge. This game has the bare-bones to be a speed-runner's wet dream for sure! The music is awesome as well, Its chill but still hype, definitely puts me in mind of castlevania with the atmosphere! The lewd scenes are also very nice as well and serve as a great incentive for beating a world!
Why is the OST if this game so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. it didn't needed to be but this didn't stopped them
Clunky controls, bugs and shoddy level design make this thoroughly unenjoyable past the half way mark with the wall jump mechanic and the last boss fight being the worst offenders, both being horribly executed. The end boss especially is just poorly designed with some undodgeable attacks that you just have to wait out and redo the fight over and over again until rngesus grants you a good pattern to finish this otherwise horribly uninteresting fight. If the game had gotten just a tad bit more polish I'd be inclined to recommend it, but as it stands it's a best a 3/10.
This game is actually so cute, I'm in love with art style, the pixel art makes it look incredible. The music makes me so happy, and everytime i jump into the game i ended up vibing with the music and just bopping along to it. It presents with a nice little challenge that you expect from a platformer but not too hard that you want to rage quit. I look forward to losing myself in this game and playing it many times over.
love this game! I love the pixel game vibe, its got a really fun soundtrack as well!!! I am still working on beating the first boss, but I will be putting a lot more time into this game. 10/10 recommend
Simple and fun hack n slash, tits and girl stuff for those who like it, short and enjoyable experience that accomplishes what it sets out to do, and doesnt overcharge you for its experience. I will give a warning though, be sure to choose Story Mode and not Arcade to get all the story context and achievements, and also that some in-level achievements aren't available until you buy them from the store.
apparently there should be some sort of wall jump or double jump, or downward attack that boosts upward movement. Doesn't work for me. maybe because I rebinded the jump key because the dev thought the whole world used qwerty. Whatever the reason, I can't even get past the very start of world 1-1, because there is a gap I can't scale no matter what I do. EDIT: OK with the C key, a key the game never told me to use, I can apparently throw my weapon to make a stepping stone. What atrocious game design. Downvote stays until I decide otherwise EDIT: playing some more, the downvotes are justified. Too bad. Looked forward to anothe rplatformer H game. This aint it
