Pastime game, match 3, farm simulator. PLOT The protagonists are 2 farmers Tom and Charlie, their dream is to plant many trees, create an orchard to be able to collect many types of fruit and sell it. But they only have a small piece of empty land and an old and abandoned house, our job is to help them earn money to be able to buy little by little everything they need to become a good fruit grower. PLAYABILITY First of all you can choose between 2 game levels: 1 Difficult with limited time and moves and 2 Relaxed with no time and number of moves. There are 120 levels to complete every time you finish them a board you will have a score that will be converted into coins, these will be used to buy everything you need: improve the house, plant trees, build a bridge, buy a tractor, a boat and many other things .... You have 2 reloading aids, a hammer to break the tiles and the ability to shuffle the board, but it rarely happens to use them because I assure you that the game is very dynamic, you will form many combos that cause explosions and you can break in no time the crates and chains that block the fruit. The music is the typical video game one, it gives rhythm while you combine the fruit and it never gets boring to hear. CONCLUSION I really liked this Match 3 because the various levels are completed quickly, they are not all the same, each board changes and other small challenges are added to score. Personally I really appreciated the Relax mode it allowed me to have fun without stressing myself to do and redo levels, without the time I recommend it because the game becomes truly relaxing and an excellent diversion after a day full of activities. Dream Fruit Farm is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a lazy, cheap cash grab. It's a routine mobile ported match-3 game. Matching three or more of the same symbol causes them to vanish, changing the grid and progressing the game. As with most mobile apps, there's a simplistic interface, locked/unchangeable screen resolution, next to no customisability, and somewhat low resolution graphical assets. All of this puts this game below minimum standards for a contemporary PC game. As gamers, we don't spend thousands on gaming rigs to pretend they're iPhones. Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is a ridiculous $5 USD, on app stores, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile game just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers.

Of course, the first obvious step is to own substantial lands with rich soil. But what else do you need for your farm to become efficient and, most importantly, profitable? Would it be nice to talk to people who have actually done it themselves? Well, you are in luck because Tom and Charlize are nutty for fruit and they just recently finished their Dream Fruit Farm. Dream Fruit Farm is a match 3 casual game developed by GameGlade and published by HH-Games on the 6 of January 2022 on the Steam Platform. Dream Fruit Farm consists of 120 levels to complete and will probably take you around 12 to 15 hours to do so. At the time of writing this review, I have completed 91 stages and played about 12 hours. Unfortunately, there is not much of a story in this game. You’ll have a short introduction that hasn’t been well translated; it’s not a big deal, but it would have been nice if it was. Essentially, you have to finish each stage, which has specific tasks that have to be concluded either with a minimum number of moves, or before the time expires. I personally find the stages with a limited number of moves more challenging than those with a time limit. When successful, you’ll receive a sum of money, and as you add more money to your wallet, you’ll be able to purchase new equipment and upgrade a few things around your farm. Good variety of levels in terms of how the grids are laid out, but unfortunately, you don’t have many perks to look forwards to in this game. You’ll only have a hammer at your disposal to destroy tiles and the possibility to shuffle the grid. These two perks have three levels in them. For example, the first shuffling level will only move a few icons (fruits) across the grid, but the third level will move nearly the entire grid, which can be extremely helpful. There is a difference between the three stages of activation regarding the hammer perk, but it is not much. The best way to complete any levels in this game is to create power-ups while playing. For example, matching five icons in an L form will create the electric icon, and when you make a match-3 with it, it will send jolts of electricity across the grid and eliminate the icon and tile that are on the receiving end. The one that is really helpful is when you match 5 of the same icon in a T shape. That will create a fruit icon with a paw on it. When you match 3 of the same fruit with this one, it will either add 30 seconds to your clock or an additional seven moves, which can be the difference between success or failure. There are another few power-ups, but I will let you discover them. Not the greatest graphics you’ll ever see here, but the game is still pleasant and has a large number of levels. The soundtrack is pleasant, and you can turn it on and off at your leisure. Mostly leaving the review as a head-up to potential buyers. Game isn't awful, pretty bare bones match three, but not recommending because I feel it's misrepresented. Despite the tag it is in no way shape or form a farming sim as most people understand that term. Cute music, graphics so-so, I was disappointed to find out that the "farm to build" is just adding another building, with no choice of color or style, to the flat looking picture of your farm. It sounds like there should be a story, but it's pretty much just the match three game. It mentions helping Tom and Charlize with all the work but there's no farming. But if you just want to match it's okay, on sale.

This is a very basic match three game with levels to beat to build home areas (of which is such basic graphics, you don't really care about building it!) The language is obviously translated to English which is jarring. The game play is extremely basic, nothing fancy, just matching gems to beat the level. I found it utterly boring and with no side quests or mini-games, you really don't feel inspired to bother!
