Got this product for 0.76$ on discount. It was a great experience. Definitly a nice piece to show off to friends when you put a VR onto their head. My wife and I were impressed. You get one coaster though, wich sucks but doesnt matter that much to me. I mean, it was not even a dollar. And after all, people had to work to make it happen so its normal they should be paid.
Decided to give this title a shot seeking something new. This one works with the HP Reverb G2 but I personally don't think it's that great. I have a monster Alienware Aurora system with with an NVIDIA RTX 2070 and 32 GB ram and the ride is somewhat choppy at the start. I don't have such issue with other VR titles. It's true that if you move your head your display may stutter a bit. Furthermore, I had to close out a launcher window displaying "UE4 Prerequisites x64" via alt + tab key in order to successfully launch the coaster in VR. There are better options out there if you look around. I won't mention competing titles here because it's wouldn't be fair to do so to this developer. It's suffice to say that it's not a polished experience and I don't feel compelled to keep riding this coaster after doing it twice. There is so much more that can be done to improve it but I'll eat the loss and move on. The lighting needs work, too much glare! The coaster has no kart ? It's a small wooden chair ? The coaster starts fast when it should be slightly slower to allow you to appreciate the scenery and the coaster has too many hard turns for my taste. The second half of the ride was better than the first but that's not enough to save this title.
Well it certainly does what it says on the box. Takes you on a rollercoaster, shows you some nice environments, makes you puke. If thats what you came for, go for it.
I only paid a few dollars and got some of the best visuals in VR rollercoasters on Steam.
This is a great way to show guests a quick intro in to what VR is and how it works. No swinging arms or walking it to walls and what not. It's simple, easy to understand and shows off the power of VR.
