Dread X Collection

This really isn't the best collection of games and a few are just terrible, but overall it's a fine ride. There's no underlying theme. One game has you playing a mock haunted Tiger Electronics game and another has you resurrecting an alien mummy inside a tomb. The general weirdness, combined with the inexplicable random assortment makes it worth playing. The game definitely does compel a sense of dread. The awful games aren't that bad to deal with because they're very short awful games, in fact all of these games can be completed in around 30-60 minutes and none should really leave a lasting impression or frustrate too much, except maybe The Outsiders. This is the most ridiculous (Though far from the worst) game on here because you have to keep dying and restarting to reveal more clues and make the item spawns less random. I just played this on easy and still got extremely frustrated because the way the game is set up compels you to get irritated. With that said, it is atmospheric and the most atmospheric games on here are the winners for sure.

十个组在七天内制作的恐怖游戏合集，每个游戏流程基本都在半个小时，质量参差不齐，大部分粗制滥造意义不明（尤其是Rotgut，烂中烂），但基本都有一些闪光点，对比同质又无聊的步行模拟恐游算是很难得了。 比较推荐的有： [b] The Pony Factory [/b]：DUSK作者作品，老派FPS，音效和场景氛围很带感，资源管理恰到好处，会像宫崎英高一样在角落藏怪导致游玩全程保持高度紧张，合集里最优秀的一个。（有独立发售版本，可单独购买体验） [b] Hand of Doom [/b]：非常古臭的RPG，流程很短且没什么恐怖要素，但很古臭很对我胃口。人物操作像坦克，只能前进后退，A和D转向，解密要通过玩家输入特定咒语，自己输咒语然后施法，啊，很涩很棒很对味。（也有独立发售版本，且内容量比合集里的这个要大得多） [b] Shatter [/b]：剧情设定和场景风格不错，游玩过程就是单纯的通马桶了，最后的追逐战还算可以。 [b] Outsiders [/b]：合集里完成度最高的一个，但个人不是太喜欢，太公式化，解密过程像恐怖奶奶，要到处找钥匙和工具，但找东西期间前半段很无聊，快到时间的特效又很晃眼，好在音效和结局不错。 [b] SUMMER NIGHT [/b]：有点小meta要素，短小精悍，但前面铺垫有点长，后面正戏又太短。 虽然说了这么多，但最后结论还是不推荐购买x，合集整体质量还是偏低（在五部合集里面它卖得最便宜是有原因的），要玩的话推荐带着品屎的预期来，在屎里找闪光点，并且搭配这篇指南食用 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2269555903 [h3] 好评给The Pony Factory和Hand of Doom，建议单独购买独立发售版本 [/h3]

It's a collection of game jam games. The concepts are good, but the execution is - usually - pretty bad. There's a few games that stand out as outliers as being horrible here (like that tunnel one lol) but the game has a ton of interesting ideas. For most people, I reccomend watching a youtube lets play instead of actually playing the game (support the devs tho). Reccomended only for hardcore gamers who are interested in raw, unpolished experiences. This is not good for the average gamer.

shatter, hand of doom, don't go out, summer nights, and the pony factory are the highlights here. shatter my beloved, you are so cool <3

Great anthology of horror games. I'm especially a fan of Shatter by Lovely Hellplace and its atmosphere and worldbuilding.
