i really like it! it has a lot of cool ideas that are implemented really well its procedural core. i would suggest to make the weapons sounds and feeling more punchy and some map generation corrections. But over all i think it is a good game with a brilliant future :) Thanks Meat Lab for your work, im enjoying it a lot!
This roguelike is an incredibly promising mix of a shooting roguelike combined with the awesome events and stuff you might see in a space roguelike like FTL! Super super passionate dev as well. Can't wait to see what 1.0 is like! Might be biased because I'm a voice actor in the game :) https://youtu.be/dLpSk-VSh4E
If you love indie sci-fi roguelites, or third person shooters, buy this immediately. The fact that a single developer created a game this unique, with FTL-style events, 3rd-person combat (With Dead Space style object throwing!), NPC squads that you can give orders and are pretty intelligent, and a physics based destructible environment?? actually insane for one guy. and he's not even done yet! You will die a lot, but between the large skill tree, tons of upgrades, weapons, and the awesome new squadmate update, every run feels fresh. blowing up a destructible wall to suck enemies into space never gets old lol Plus, the dev seems awesome. I joined their discord a few months back to chit chat about the game and you can tell theyre passionate and proud of what they've created! As they should be! My only criticisms are: 1. Keybind changes don't always reflect on objects, like the cryotube where you can roll a new character 2. I wish guns felt a bit more punchy. The audio lacks some effect such as echo and punch. 3. The camera is a bit static; the game could really benefit from some recoil screenshake or walk/sprint screenshake. There is a blur effect on sprint which is a nice touch! 4. Toggle Walk and weightier movement; but thats just a personal preference and I understand if my preferences don't align with the Devs artistic vision :) But overall, in contrast to what the dev has created; these are minor criticisms and the game is still overall incredible!
Loving the game!! rougelike in space. Traveling from one space station to the next. You can break the scenery and suck people out into space(which i love). There is an amazing variety of guns and the gore is brilliant! Ive just got to get good! gameplay is pretty punishing which will keep me coming back.
played this first as a demo played it for 10 minutes already knew it was gonna be good bought it straight away very fun and feels very nice even the running with the gun is so satisfying space stations have nice scenes outside from the window gunplay is fun
Still a little rough around the edges, but that's what Early Access is for. Solid gameplay loop, board some space stations, deal with a few space encounters, purchase some upgrades, and then go for another run. The gun play is fun, with the occasional opportunity for some stealth kills. Enemies often react realistically to being shot, they fall down, they curse, run away, continue to fight from on the ground, and sometimes get sucked into space if the bulkhead behind them fails.
This game is so much fun! Great concept, Super Fun Gameplay and it is always different on each run which makes it a great gameplay game! I LOVE the fact that you can dip in and out of this game. Perfect for travel.
Fun mechanics, lots of variety of weapons and upgrades
Played the demo some time ago and thought it was pretty good at that time; maybe some minor jank but nothing game-breaking. Let it simmer a little longer and have since bought the full game and thought it was even better than the demo. Good job devs!
Pretty fun, mechanic could be tightened byt otherwise, there is a fun game on the way.
