Ok sure, it has a few issues, But it's a good game nor the less. it reminds me of the past games. ^u^
I'm trying to use a PS4 controller to play this and it works but when I get to the part where I draw my hero it won't let me draw anything if anyone has any advice on what I should do that would be great
Just . . . . egh. Oh yeah, you can draw a character, that part is alright. But they clearly had none of the series' gameplay in mind. This was birthed from a platformer type genre. And said platforming incorporated a lot of things you are prompted to draw. Not . . . not here. It is a very plain puzzle game with provided uniform preset blocks, objects, whatnot, akin to a . . . combo of mousetrap and . . . I wanna say Bad Piggies??? At least, the scoring system and overall progression is a lot like a Rovio title. It gets to be a very boring and tiresome loop for a franchise that is known for fun and creative level design. That's just . . . sad, I expected way more.
Drawn to life was my first own videogame, my grandmother bought it for me on my 9th birthday, now with 25 years old I propuse myself to play all the series. I just end ''The Next Chapter'', Why there's is a ''cute'' ending version instead of the rela one? I hope I played TNC on my DS with ''magic'' and see the other ending. But, what is this?! I know there is a new studio behind this, but I only played 15 minutes: A extra limited version of a Mario Maker like a strange gatcha, in PC controls are so awful that I can not pass the Heather level, literally the third level, counting the tutorial. It's so cute in a bad way and I don't know how to express it (It's similar to the original artwork of raposa but feel ankward and colorful) The only thing I can say good about this is thet I bought it on a discount for like 3 euros but I feel like I will regret this. And the start of the game don't explain anything it's like: ''Creator make Hero again, just because I want to talk Mike''. It's so one of those Phones game, right? I will finish but I feel a painful seeing this is a sequel, and TNC it's bad, but bro. Make an effort, Did the first game on the franchise left the expectation so up for you?
I just could not get into this from the start. It lacks all the charm of the original, and immediately felt disjointed and slow. I'm very bummed as a long time fan of the series.
Look how they massacred my boy....
this game could've been GREAT THERE WAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL however it just feels like a soulless continuation for a series that really didn't need one the game's also broken so you can't get one of the achievements
I recently saw that 505 Games had made a third Drawn to Life, and I flipped. How had I not seen this game advertised??? The first two games (Drawn to Life and Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter) were essential to my childhood, and still to this day hold a special place in my heart. The story, the creativity in the different aspects of the game enticed me, but not this game. I watched a play-through of Drawn to Life: Two Realms and was mildly disappointed by what I saw, but I decided to get the game anyway to experience it for myself. It in itself is not a bad game, but it functions completely differently with a different art style than the original two games, wearing the name as a title for a different game instead of being an actual sequel. Almost nothing in this game is actually "drawn" by the player, and it makes me so sad to see a game with such promise be so disappointing.
