Weren't the Raposa and their world destroyed after The Next Chapter? That entire game led up to the grand ending of it being a coma, and now the Raposa and their world are magically back?
Nevermind that. This game feels like a cheap cash grab, and a disgrace to the Drawn to Life series. Not to mention the extremely questionable design choices like no run button on the world map. You have to collect these fruits to run for a short time instead. What kind of backwards logic is that-- Let's just hope the random company to suddenly develop the next Scribblenauts game doesn't horribly eff things up too.
this game makes me sad that we're probably never getting another drawn to life because this game was kinda dookie i like the story tho because the raposa world survived the coma :steamhappy: update: i went back and got every achievement that wasnt bugged and didnt unlock despite its criteria being met because i didnt feel complete without doing so, im free now also this game has a horrific screen tearing issue that is constantly around the entire game
It is a special kind of incredible to make a game in a beloved series this dull and uninteresting. I impulse bought this a while ago because it said Drawn to Life on the box, but now I regret my purchase. Avoid at all costs, just emulate the DS games at this point.
Drawn to Life: Two Realms has a very good foundation, but it seems like 505 pushed the game to a specific release date before it was actually ready to ship. This game was developed by many from the original team and its evident that a lot of love went into *most* parts of the game, but it just doesn't click together as well as the team wanted it to. If you're a Drawn to Life fan in any sense, pick this game up, not because its a good continuation, but because the support for the series will help green light future Drawn to Life games, which I'm 100% positive will be a TRUE return to form.
This is a generic, repetitive platformer wearing Drawn To Life as a skinsuit. The "Drawn" part is either creating your character or doing drawings for npcs. There's nothing that impacts gameplay unlike the previous titles. I would say this game is an overall downgrade in almost every single way, except the art. Just get an emulator and play The Next Chapter, you'll definitely have a better time.
Wow. This is just... not. good. I liked the original games, but this ain't it chieftain. Sad to say, but it's a washed up husk of its former self. Just seems like a money grab tbh. Can't recommend this.
This game feels so soulless and dumbed down than the previous 2. The gameplay change from the first 2 wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't so swallow. The story also feels very forced and swallow compared to the first 2. As a big fan of the other 2 games I can't recommend this at all. Just get a cheap copy of Drawn to Life 1 and 2 on DS. Even the combo pack version with the censored ending is better than this. lol
its not worth it its not worth it ITS NOT WORTH IIIIIIIIIIT SAVE YOURSELF
This is not a Drawn to Life game. If you enjoyed the gameplay of the original game and the next chapter (either version, Wii or DS), you will not enjoy this game. The gameplay is made up of short little levels that largely require you to use enemies as platforms. This makes restarting the level an inevitability unless you can do it perfectly first try, since you can accidentally kill enemies you need to cross gaps or gain height. Some levels make you place the enemies yourself to get to the level end, and it leaves you at an impasse sometimes- are you failing the level because you put things in the wrong place, or are you failing the level because you're just messing up an input. The tragic thing is this couldn't even be recommended to people who have never played Drawn to Life because the story is inherently based off of the ending of the Next Chapter. If you haven't played a Drawn to Life game before, then you have no clue what's going on and if you HAVE played drawn to life you're yelling at the screen saying "when will I be able to draw?!?!" Finding out THQ went bankrupt and this was made by an entirely different company and was also put on ios and android made everything about this make so much more sense, honestly. It's sad, because using a computer mouse to draw would be at the very least better than the wii, and probably equal or greater to drawing on a DS depending on your general skill. I even busted out my drawing tablet for this on my first time trying to play, only to be presented with the utter lack of things to actually draw. Save your time and money.
In comparison with previous titles of the saga this is a dull and boring game. A disgrace to the name drawn to life
