Drawn®: The Painted Tower

While it has its challenges, getting all the achievement means solving certain puzzles before time runs out. But there's just not much that's memorable about this game. It works, there are no bugs, but it's short and easily forgotten. Unless you can get it for less than a cup of coffee, I wouldn't get too excited about it. There's better out there to experience.

Lovely art, an interesting story, and puzzles that were challenging without being excessive. I good way to spend an afternoon. There were some occasional glitches transferring between scenes that forced me to shut down Steam to shut the game down, but I figure that's an easy fix to push.

I love this game! I want to play more like this!

I adored this game as a kid, and I'm so happy i was able to play it again as an adult. The art and soundtrack are gorgeous, and the puzzles are challenging but very solvable. I really appreciate that there's no penalty or cost for hints or outright skipping puzzles when you need to, feels much more accessible this way! The only thing i am uncertain of is the depiction of the character called the Witch-Doctor, and if that's an offensive stereotype. I'm not from any of the cultures that could be impacted by this, so i can't speak on it, but absolutely a heads-up if you are and you're considering this game!

谜画之塔一共是三部曲！游玩顺序The Painted Tower--Dark Flight--Trail of Shadows，其中第三部是前传故事 解谜主要是考验眼力+脑洞大开，有些谜题挺难想到的，不过游戏有内置提醒，甚至还可以跳过谜题，所以可以说总体难度不算高，基本不用担心卡关。不过有些拟态色和拟态形状的解谜物品是真难找啊…… 这是一个剧情相当丰富的解谜游戏，有很多配音动画演出，在精美的手绘风场景和悠扬奇幻的背景音乐中探索物品，解决谜题，还挺具有沉浸感的！

I love these games, the whole trilogy, and have loved them since they were first published. However, as of writing in July of 2023, they no longer work on Windows. I have tried every compatibility setting, and I'm not illiterate when it comes to fixing computers, but nothing I have done makes these games run anymore. It breaks my heart, because the puzzles are fun, the story is interesting, the art and music are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen, but they are no longer playable and it seems Big Fish and Steam have no plans on fixing this. Do not spend your money on these games unless you are running an OLD pc still on Windows XP.

Really enjoyed replaying this childhood classic, love the artwork throughout and the simple yet engaging story.

WARNING: If you press any of the main menu buttons that involve changing the game resolution, the game permanently bricks. Even if you uninstall it and reinstall, erase all files, delete steam cloud, or do anything, the game will be permanently broken never be able to start up again. Do not buy, at least not on steam.

Warning: Don't change the settings to windowed mode, it may break the game and if it does you can't change it back. Not even uninstalling and reinstalling the game fixes it. You can get around it by creating a second user account on your computer, so the settings must be saved according to the user, but I don't know where.
