Draugen

i did NOT expect that twist at all. very pretty game and interesting story. i personally recommend getting ur controller and kicking back to enjoy. i dont really think it has a lot of playability, so you can justify the pricce yourself, but just purely based on the gameplay and story, i can recommend. this game could be slightly better optimised though.

In the vein of Edith Finch and Ethan Carter, Draugen is a atmospheric interactive walking sim. It's a tragic story of a small mining village in Norway, through the eyes of a visiting American looking for his missing sister. I should also mention Draugen has fantastic voice acting and a wonderful script. (Except perhaps "Look at me when I'm talking to you." IYKYK, lol.) Although only a few hours long, I was not disappointed. Very much enjoyed the experience.

i only started this game to get the graphics set up, and then i'll come back to actually play the game it in about a month or two. but to the other reviews complaining about the side-kick... she is a seventeen year-old girl from the 1920's, speaking the lingo of the time... grow up you whipper snappers. REVIEW: i couldnt find the fourth page in the church, lissie is obviously a ghost, the goats are demons, and i gave up.

Fantastische Geschichte

the game is excellent - I liked everything about it

First off, an absolutely beautiful game. Loved the atmosphere, choosing to set a mystery in 1920's Norway was a fantastic decision. The story was rather good, and I will state I found myself enjoying my time with this game. However, I will also state that I think this game would have made a better novel than a game. Still, an excellent game in it's own right, and I will likely play it again at some point (I like to give games a few years between playthroughs, just to make sure I can relive the experience to it's fullest each time).

I enjoyed this game. It has a great atmosphere and isn’t linear. It will appeal to those who aren’t fans on excessive action but enjoy interesting logic, unconventional solutions and unpredictable plot twists.

A great noir mystery adventure set in norway. The voice acting is amazing. The emotions drive you into the story and make Alice and Edward very human in their own ways. The story is captivating and you just want to know what exactly happened in this isolated place. The plot twist was good and the emotional rolercoaster believeable. The scenery is beautiful and the island was built with much love for detail. I wish there was more places to visit or just more clues to find. I also wanted to learn more about Alice and Edward or be able to visit their home in Hanover. A gameplay issue I came across was the interaction with objects. I sometimes had to click multiple times to make him pick something up or sit down to draw. But that was a minor issue to me and didn't interfere with the game as a whole. All in All, I can safely say, if you're a sucker for mystery games like I am, go for it. It's a short game and easily entertains your friday evening with a good tea and a sharp mind. P.s. I do hope that this wasn't the last we've seen of Alice, Edward, [spoiler] and Entity [/spoiler] . Patiently, waiting for Part Two.
