I've always wanted to experience realistic dragons in VR, so when this one went on sale, I figured I'd give it a shot- but keeping expectations low so as not to be disappointed. Well as soon as I zoned into the super dark lobby area, I was very pleasantly surprised! Just in those first few moments, I turned around and immediately noticed two massive breathing dragons hovering over me with a towering gargoyle statue in between. Their attention to detail and how much they gave off a sense of presence was pretty impressive. I tried out the dragon ride experience (theme park ride style) first with the night environment. Very relaxing and the fireworks show was an unexpected nice touch at the end. After that, moved on to trying out more of the atmospheric environments, along with the variety of game modes/ mini games. From a rhythm style mode reminiscent to a popular VR rhythm game (but with balloons)... to finding dragon eggs/ hitting targets... to flying and controlling a dragon freely... and more. There was a huge learning curve to the flying on my own part for me, but after some time struggling, I was finally becoming somewhat competent. Still need way more practice though. Can't blame the game though cause I'm also just as horrible controlling mounts in other games :P All in all, I ended up finding myself lost in the game for almost an hour on my first try. Which for me was pretty long considering I had already been playing other VR stuff beforehand, in one session, without a break. Definitely will return to explore even more as it is a great escape from real life. Can't wait to show this to my sis who is obsessed with dragons and others. Side note: I played Drakan (an action-adventure fantasy game where you rode a dragon) on PC/ PS2, and I remember how awesome it was to ride a dragon in 3D (3D was really new & cool in the 90's) and just go exploring throughout the world. I'm into non-plane flight simulators, mostly birds, so a dragon sim appealed to me (and hey, it was cheap). This game is a bit of a mess, but a fun mess. You can fly as a dragon or a dragon rider (two available POV) around fairly small worlds, finding stuff (easter egg hunt) and taking little flight challenges like destroying balloons or making it through a long series of floating hoops. I find the controls a bit counter-intuitive (prefer flying games where you use your arms to flap, rather than just moving joysticks) but after 15 min or so you can get used to them. The animated dragons are actually not bad, with some nice surface detailing on the saddle, wings, etc. The landscape is fantastical of course, and the flight physics are arcade-level; but it has a kind of wacky charm that draws me back for casual play. The controls are a bit complex for really young players, but for age range 10-up it is good colourful fun. Some violence appears to be possible (there are Attack commands) but so far, playing casually I have had no antagonistic experiences. The dragons can swim underwater as well as fly, which adds a bit more variety to the experience. So what we have here is kind of like an airplane sim (control a flying craft using joysticks and buttons) with the graphics and feel of a bird sim (flapping wings, gliding and diving, hovering etc). Some kids are really, really into dragons :-) and for these kids, this game would be a perfect match. But even if you just like arcade level flying, it offers colourful fun. Don't expect any story line, deep engagement, or serious puzzle solving and you won't be disappointed. It's a nice VR showcase app because of the scenery and flight options (all the way from passive tourism for newbies, to full control and aerobatic flight for the more advanced vr user).

Что я могу сказать про эту игру? Да тут и нечего говорить, за такие деньги, это самая лучшая игра в мире для VR. Тут есть всё, Драконы и Драконы и даже Драконы! Разных расцветок и видов. Тут на Драконе можно летать, стоять, сидеть, стрелять по воздушным шарам, возвращать яйца в гнездо, смотреть на красивые виды и на красивых Драконов, играть в Beat Saber и много другое. Даже можно от первого лица, мордочки Дракона полетать. Игра шикарная, всем советую, если бы ещё автор добавил возможность в панорамах ходить с помощью контроллера или хотя бы телепортироваться, было бы вообще огонь. А так игра топ, если попытаться багнуть центрирование камеры стима, можно и до Дракона дойти, жалко они никак не реагируют на поглаживания, но и так нормально. Спасибо автору за игру, всем советую поиграть. 100 Красивых Драконов из 10

Ce jeux regorge de bonnes idées : pleins d’options pour jouer confortablement (daltonien, taille…), des décors variés, différents styles de musique, plusieurs armes (c’est enfant-compatible : on ne crève que des ballons), des animaux mythologiques, des niveaux pour se détendre ou se challenger… et un dragon personnalisable (couleur, cornes…). Monter à pleine vitesse dans le ciel depuis une île paradisiaque ou faire des plongées en piqué sur un volcan, quel bonheur !
