Delicious 16: Moms vs Dads (Dash-TM) Steam copy provided for Curator review Options include separate sliders for Music and Sounds, Full-screen (NOT default), Show Game Hints and choice of difficulty. Unlike a couple of the previous titles, Normal difficulty felt just perfect -- Neither too hard nor too easy. Story: Despite the title of the game, this is not Moms against Dads; it's about family dynamics and parenting in general. The ladies devise a Father of the Year competition to try to show their spouses that the child rearing duties aren't as equal as the guys seem to think they are. Things get out of hand when the press gets involved, but as usual for the Delicious series, Moms vs Dads leaves you with a smile on your face when all is said and done. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2009898824 One of my favorite parts of the story revolves around a couple of characters we met in the last game, so I really recommend at least playing Miracle of Life before starting this title. Gameplay: Fill customer orders, complete actions, find Carl the Mouse and make as many points as possible so that you can afford to upgrade your locations. Replaying a level will earn you extra coins so that you can upgrade more quickly, but the only way to earn extra diamonds -- used to decorate the O'Malley's back yard -- is by playing the Daily Challenges. You can get up to six extra diamonds from the dailies, but only once a day, forcing you to play every day if you want to unlock all of the decorations. There are no pop-up Mini-games, but there can be mini-actions that need to be made. Things such as rubbing, clicking, holding the mouse button down, sliding the cursor, etc, and sometimes you'll have to do multiples of these before you are finished with the action. Something brand new to the series is having six customers at the same table(!) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2009901655 As usual with the Delicious games, there is an end-of-level bonus for having clean tables... but there's also a hefty bonus for having everything fully-stocked, so keep that in mind if you have any troubles getting enough points. A couple of minor aggravations: First, the area you need to click is sometimes too small, so -- for instance -- I would think that I'd completed an action, but messed up because I hadn't clicked in the right place. Second is related to the achievements. Once again you have to purchase every single upgrade variety to receive one of the 'cheevos, but you can't buy extra diamonds, so you're stuck with playing the dailies until you have enough diamonds (and being forced to take a picture with each upgrade). On the plus side, the 15-day daily challenge does NOT have to be consecutive this time. Sights and Sounds: Visuals are great, per usual, but it's the songs that really stand out. There are two songs sung by a secondary character, and I absolutely love them. They're sweet and catchy, I just love his voice and I was was pleasantly surprised to hear them. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2001640551 Verdict: I've owned this game (elsewhere) since it was first released, but put off playing it because I was a bit offended by the idea of pitting the sexes against each other. I was really relieved to find that I was wrong about the storyline! In the end this is another feel-good story from GameHouse, and one that could be really useful for parents-to-be, new parents and even grandparents. Despite being forced to play the dailies (for at least two weeks) to earn the final achievements, I enjoyed this one very much, and recommend it to TM-Dash fans!

The game and story are decent, matching what previous games in the series are like. However, my biggest complaint is the carry over from the previous one of the "daily diamond challenge". Indeed it's somehow been made worse by increasing the number of diamonds needed to buy everything. On top of that, to unlock everything in the level stores you need to replay, even if you've already achieved perfect stars the first time. For me, the game is removing the sense of accomplishment with these changes and I'm not sure if I will continue to play them for the story alone.
Dads strong! Bow to moms!
As usual there's nothing new in this game, it's good old GameHouse casual game with exactly same gameplay as always. This time there's a competition between dads who decide that they can do stuff better than moms and start competing with each other. It's a heartwarming story as usual along with funny moments and addicting gameplay. There're 60 levels not counting bonus levels. And there are six locations with different scenery and new stuff. People come in, you bring them what they ask while doing that as quickly as possible. Mostly you'll be serving food. sometimes you really need to concentrate since you have main objectives and some of them can be really easy to miss if you don't pay attention for few seconds. One interesting thing i've found is combining some items gives interesting result. Like there are drinks of three colors but customers ask for drinks in six colors, so you mix the colors to get the color they want. I really loved this. You earn diamonds by completing levels which you then spend on house decorations. Besides that there's money and you spend it to buy bonus items which work as buffs and make you walk faster, make customers stay happy for longer, food doesn't burn as quickly and so on. Well there's not much to say. If you love the series you know what to expect. If you're not familiar with it then this could be your first game (or any other). Now things i disliked. Unlocking other variants for some products is terribly slow. Customers ask for certain products very rarely, often not even once in a whole level. This was very annoying for getting an achievement. Another thing i dislike is daily challenges. I think it's useless and serves no purpose. Graphically the game is cute as always, you'll probably know most of the characters by now if you've played other Delicious games. The game is very charming, colorful and definitely kids friendly. Runs on potato too. Not much to talk about sounds, they're just...sounds? One minor annoyance is that if you want to tune down the music but leave sound effects to hear that mouse, you'll still hear extremely loud music when the level ends because it's considered as a sound effect. A bit annoying. But it's a problem with all the games. It's a fun and cute casual game. Get this on sale and make dads proud. Pros

Cute
Addictive
Good variety in tasks
Fun bonus objectives
Great cast
Cons

Daily challenges are pointless
some sounds are annoying
Unlocking new variants of products is a pain

Follow my curator page for more

As always the story in the game was good. Still have the bug with the game freezing, while the sound continues. Had this one in the last game too and i cant believe they didnt fix it yet.. Only way to fix this is to restart the game. Meaning you have to start over in the level every time you get this bug. I feel like they are starting to use the same locations over and over again. Which is a shame. Could have been nice to visit brand new places most of the times. In this game there was only two locations that hadnt been used in the previous games. The daily challenges are fine, but it should be optional whether or not you wanted to do them. It gives a lot of diamonds which is nice, but after completing the whole game and 15 days of daily challenges, you still dont have enough diamonds to buy everything you need for the achievement... You still need 58 more diamonds (not even sure if i did 15 or 16 daily challenges at the point where i needed the 58 more). What seems a bit weird to me, is that you can replay levels for coins but you cant replay challenges for diamonds. So you are forced to play daily challenges for a while, just to get everything in the garden.. First time i wont recommend an Emily game. People play this game for the story and because they like the game. Dont force people to replay the levels and return for over 15 days just to get the achievements/get everything in the game. I played this to keep following Emily and her family, because i started playing the first Emily games on my IPad, when they were first released. I wont be buying the next game just for the story, they need to get back to what was important.
This game was definitely a step back in the right direction. I've been playing the Emily games basically forever and there have been a few (namely The Miracle of Life) that seemed to lose sight of what these games are all about, which is cooking! In the game mentioned above, both Emily and cooking were rare sights and I couldn't even finish it, I got so bored. I had little hope for this one being any better but was pleasantly surprised. While they still didn't bring back the adjustable difficulty settings, I really enjoyed how hard the game could be sometimes but I can see how this would be disappointing and frustrating to those looking for a more relaxed game. This one is more challenging, but also more engaging, than the previous Miracle of Life. I hope they stay on this track!
juego muy bueno , lo recomiendo
- Comments on this game: Well, this title is even less memorable than the previous one, but still enjoyable to play. Takes 20 hours to get all the achievements. Some items are rarely ordered, so it would be a little bit grinding to unlock their upgrades. One achievement is bugged in my playthrough. - Comments on the franchise Delicious Emily This franchise is part of my wife's childhood gameplay memory. I bought it to play with her, and I enjoyed the whole franchise thoroughly. Almost every game from this franchise is a great time management game with a superb story and appealing graphics. The mechanism varies slightly from game to game, so it does not feel too repetitive. The progression of the coherent story, the different restaurants, and the new items to serve are compelling enough to make you play title after title. If you are interested in time management games, I strongly recommend getting the Delicious 8-in-1 Bundle, and playing them in release order. It is a pity that early titles from this franchise are not available on Steam. So the franchise on Steam starts from Emily's New Beginning. However, three previous titles before New Beginning (True Love, Wonder Wedding, Honeymoon Cruise) are free to play on Apple Store, so don't miss them! They should be played before the 8 titles on Steam, since their stories set the premise of the 8 following titles. - Comments on the developers: The developers, GameHouse, do not seem to care too much about their games. They just release their game and then disappear. Bugs are seldom fixed (well, you can see on SteamDB that the depots of some titles are last updated even before the release). The worst of all is that traditional Delicious Emily games are somewhat abandoned, probably because GameHouse cannot milk much money from them. Instead, they have now switched their attention to developing a mobile game Delicious World with tasteless stories, boring and repetitive gameplay, and microtransactions. Shame!
It's fun. The end.
Dos palabras: Bonito
