Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 8 → 4.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Dragonhold is a mission-based dragon riding ARPG. Take on dangerous excursions across the war-torn Azarkeen region, fighting on dragonback and on foot to seize loot and relics. Then extract back to your castle island, where you expand your town, craft gear, and upgrade your warriors for the next run.
Each mission is a risk–reward run: push deeper for better rewards, or extract early to secure what you’ve found. Play fully solo or team up in online co-op; your progress and castle carry across both.
Dragonhold is NOT always online. You can run a dedicated server yourself for free, the files are on steam.
Ride and fight on dragons – Soar over battlefields, strafe enemies with fire, then dive into brutal close-quarters combat as a dragon rider.
Mission-based extraction loop – Choose your mission, hunt for loot and materials, then extract safely or risk going deeper.
Rebuild Dragonhold castle – Restore a ruined stronghold and surrounding town; unlock vendors, crafting stations, and new progression systems as you rebuild.
Craft and upgrade – Forge weapons, armor, and arcane relics. Grow your dragon’s power and your own build with skills and gear.
Bosses and elite encounters – Take on challenging bosses both on dragonback and on foot, learning patterns and coordinating with allies.

Take to the skies on a mighty dragon and unleash fiery attacks on your enemies. Explore a vast enchanted realm and save the people of Azarkeen. Unleash deadly abilities and magical powers to prevent a corrupt holy war spreading across the world. Restore the balance in spectacular third-person action in solo or multiplayer modes.
Dragonhold is fully playable solo from start to finish – you don’t need other players or a constant online population to progress.
You can:
Play offline / privately
Host your own dedicated server
Or join other servers from the community.
Co-op is there if you want it; the entire experience can be enjoyed as a single-player ARPG.

Are you ready to become a member of the legendary Boundless Order, harnessing the power of dragons and etching your name into the annals of history? Your destiny awaits in Dragonhold.

I do not get why there is so much negativity towards this game. Yes there are things that could be better in the game but when I got my dragon it was awesome. Combat is kinda weird at first but after the tutorial boss fight everything just clicked! I am truly loving the game and for its price right now what else are you going to spend that money on. Really people just being negative and give these people time to iron out the stuff! Keep up the work devs your doing great!
Let them cook... the price is not to bad and looks good. Needs some love but its new, Stop review bombing it for no reason.

Not bad but not good be better if it didn't crash every 10 or so minutes
The devs have my support. This game has a ton of potential. A ton. The developer is sitting on a gold mine if they could just fine tune the game just a bit more. Could be one of the best PvE extraction multiplayer games that we have avail. I would like to see a few dedicated servers from the developers with 10-16 players on the map. Letting people run servers isn't working and all of them are empty and is a waste when you could just run a few dedicated servers and a few community ones. Would be really fun and give that adrenaline rush to get loot and extract from other dragon riders. I didn't really feel that rush in single player mode. The way this game is setup it doesn't feel like it should be single player. The map is huge and could play alot like arc raiders. If they added random PvE boss fights that took people working together to take them down and then dive in for the loot and have dragon fighting idk. Something different than guns and stuff. This could be an amazing high stakes pvp/pve game. It sets itself apart from other extraction games while keeping the formula the same. SO MUCH POTENTIAL! I saw pictures of some round gameplay? So maybe the devs have something in mind. The combat is very janky but the foundation is there. I have only played the rouge class and it felt like really watered down warframe combat. I kept trying to play it like warframe. I really wish there was a dodge or block. I wasn't able to find the keys for that. I button spammed and had no luck. The game does get better as you play and unlock more abilities and weapons. Its not absolutely terrible by any means. The dragon riding is fun, I LOVE the fact you can land the dragon and take off from the ground as well. That's missing in a lot of dragon riding games. There are a lot of dragon skins and what not. I've only played as the striker class. The movement is good and fluid. That part of the game I am happy with even if it is still a bit janky. The base building is weird but it makes sense to gather stuff and extract it to build your base and unlock more characters, cosmetics and dragons. Makes a good gameplay loop. The game needs a FOV slider. Be like helldivers and add the ability to earn paid currency in the game? Not sure if that is implemented but its nice to appreciate the players time into the game. It also makes people want to play and grind more. Equals player retention. I know not everything should be online multiplayer but I think if the developers push this to be more of a PvE 10-16 player game it would be a lot of fun once the jankyness gets sorted out. They should keep the single player mode as well for people who don't care to play online. The combat and enemies need some work. I'm assuming pvp would be difficult because you cant really balance players off their dragons and players on their dragons. It would be instakill. I would also like to see more verticality in the map. Floating islands or cliffs. The boss areas need verticality as well and ways to get out on foot. It was very confusing to land in a huge castle and be stuck in there with no way out other than the blue door at end of a courtyard. The devs have my support I think the idea on paper is very cool and its almost there. I really hope they decide to run some dedicated servers with 10-16 players, and fine tune the combat and enemies. Then I would really love to recommend it to friends and sink a lot of time into it. I wouldn't have called this a 1.0 release it gives people the idea that the game is in a more finished state and its not. This is def a beta or even an alpha test it feels like. I really like the idea here I just think it needs a lot more time to cook but i understand that making games also takes money. You all probably started to run low on funds and needed to release the game. Or just needed the money to push the game in a better direction. If you like extraction shooter gameplay and you like fantasy and dragon riding I think the game is worth throwing $20 to support the developers. Think of it like a little kickstarter backing I guess. I won't refund the game even though I'm not totally happy with its current state. I do support the vision. Anyway I'm done yapping. This is just my two cents that I personally think could make the game a lot better and retain players, as well as some thoughts on stuff. I might pick up this game for my partner just to have somebody to play with. The combat is just really weird at the moment. Ill probably wait a few months to see if anything changes.
I think it is pretty cool.
Im conflicted if i want to recommand this game or not simply because alot of people looking at this game will expect something ALOT diffrent then what this game is and how it plays (even if the mixed reviews and the price tag should be a clear giveaway i was mad at first too because i expected something diffrent and felt wronged that this is a full release and not an early access version) there is alot of room for improvments im hopeful that the game can reach what it desires to be with all the minor gameplay systems in it,if there are any plans for it ofc The game feels and plays like a "casual casual" game from the early 2000 if you ever picked up some random games from game websites at the time you know what im talking about. I personally somewhat enjoy it as a casual time dump (before this game my casual time dump game of choice was Looterkings which no longer is with us sadly) If you expect a fully finalised 2026 gaming experince, with a learning curve modern progression systems, snappy controlls and fast pace combat this game isnt it but if you are cool with a random early 2000 game with some mondern elements to it and ofc being able to fly a DRAGON you can have fun with it and spend some time here and there. Overall for the price it is and for the fun you can have with the game if you take it with a grain of salt i can recommand it
This is pretty bad. The UX and UI are aweful. The combat is floaty and lacks any impactl. I cant in good concious reccomend it in its current state. And they removed micro transactions. "From early access" Which i take as, they will ruin the game eventually. Hopefully i get my refund.
I was looking for a game similar to LAIR AND this comes up yay! On steam deck feels a bit weird the controller im having issues with bottons i made a layout for people to uses steam deck i was playing all the sudden B stopped working (dodge) and also game crashes everytime i go fly dragon in event on deck so idk i hope they can make support the deck since I dont think they will somehow so far enjoying it
-------------- TL;DR: Great concept, stale/lackluster execution, lacking true soul. Could be great given several years and plenty of funding. I truly wish Dragonhold good luck, but I ended up regretting my purchase. ------------- I've purchased plenty of early access games, many quite rough around the edges, and there's usually *something* about the games which secures my confidence in what their updates will bring to the game in the next few years. This one I've actually gone ahead and requested a refund for. It's difficult to put exactly into words why Dragonhold didn't secure my confidence. There's truly a great concept at its heart, but it feels even more like a prototype than an early access product. Some amount of soul seems to be missing. I'm guessing the voice over is done with A.I.? That may be part of why the game feels so "off". The music and SFX felt a bit generic, sorcerer in particular suffered from that one as combat ended up feeling thoroughly unengaging. The tutorial was pretty heavily expository, oddly leaving me feeling more disconnected than drawn into the game world. It rather gave me the impression that there may be passion for the gameplay, but there's just a randomly generated batch of fantasy names wrapped around it. That may be far from the truth, but I'm just trying to get at how odd the results of the tutorial story experience felt. The gameplay itself is pretty simple - "easy to play, difficult to master" is a great game design philosophy so no complaints there. That could be a strength in the long run. But, as mentioned previously the current VFX/SFX particularly for the sorcerer did not leave me eager for more gameplay. The ability to join a friend through steam or invite a specific friend to play together is not currently in the game - it looks like that's part of the roadmap for the future. That is particularly unfortunate in my case as I bought this specifically to play with somebody who has always wanted to play a dragon rider type game. We weren't interested in buying a private server for a game we're just trying for the first time and our experience using the public realm didn't inspire much interest in continuing. There really is a great concept at heart, but it feels more like something that's meant to be presented to bigger studios for heavy development. I would 3-6 years more before this game approaches its potential. True, the game's price is decent but if you are particularly mindful of what you spend your game budget on I would pass on this one. Wait for a demo, if possible. The screenshots and video looked great, but the in game experience ultimately felt like a big ol' sip of flat soda.
MULTIPLAYER!!!!! just to say this is a fun game to play, BUT!! so far trying to get multiplayer to work is a joke, you spend ages setting up the server, see it in the list, aand yet, AND YET! no one can press the bloody start button! if this changes, so will my review as this game is pretty enjoyable, but who cares if you are forced to play it alone....
