I don't like leaving negative reviews, but the few minutes I played were painful. I couldn't even get through the tutorial. I hit some weird game breaking bug when climbing up the oddly placed ladder sets. Based on the little I experienced, the movement feels clunky out of the gate. I picked up a weapon, swung it around a bit, and frowned at the ole' floaty VR sword feel of 2015. Also the gripping is weird and doesn't feel natural. I really wanted to give this game a chance, and for 5$ I'm not expecting much, but this feels like an older vr title, or an unpolished early access. Proceed with caution. Could This Scratch the Skyrim VR Itch? I have been itching for awhile, for a game to hold me over until the next The Elder Scrolls VR game comes out. This game scratches at that itch, but does not completely get rid of it. Don't get me wrong, this is not a pass by game. This game has a lot going for it, at an amazing entry price. The game offers a nice size open world to explore, where most items are interactive and looks really good. It has a character leveling system, weapon selection, magic spells to learn, and lot of quests. Physics system feels good, easy controls for moving around, climbing, swimming, and interacting with items and much more. It totally gives me Skyrim vibes. Now for some of it down points. The game is very demanding on the system. I am well over the recommended specs and still had to run it on medium settings and had graphical issues breaking immersion. The inventory on only one hand made it hard to equip items fast in combat, and was some what a pain. The melee combat did not work for me, but the range combat and magic worked fine. With that said the game was just released in Dec, and has still has not had a big update that could fix lots of these issues. I thinking for the current asking price the game is worth investing into and could become something really good. Steams rating system is only thumbs up or down. This one I will give a thumbs up, but with caution. You are buying something that needs some work, but could be something great. Watch my preview here, https://youtu.be/4aXkN2MqAUE
Has a lot of promise. The game world looks great. Just needs optimization as it runs choppy even with settings on med. Runs ok on low settings. Needs weapon offset customization badly. The bow was unusable. Controls for in game quest menu took a little getting used to. Needs work on grabbing items. Had a hard time picking anything up. Really needs gravity grab or whatever ya call it. Of course i play sitting... so... With a little work this could be a great game. But I cannot recommend at this time. Needs a few good updates. I am keeping the title to support the dev. I mean it was only $5. JUST REALLY HOPING THIS GAME IS NOT ABANDONED! Running Ryzon 9 3060ti 32gb ram Quest 2
bad game
Renders to the Vive ok, but the X, Y, A and B buttons are not mapped to the Vive wands making it unplayable. Was looking forward to playing this but unfortunately it's not possible as it stands. Refunded.
A $7 game that requires a super computer to run. Doesn't take lower end gfx cards into consideration, at all.
Everything's shaking. The test dummy doesn't hit. No any discount on sales. Refund.
This game is ♥♥♥♥!
