Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to step into a living, breathing fairy tale, Dragon Quest XI is the answer. From the moment the orchestral title theme swells and you begin your journey as the Luminary, you know you’re in the hands of masters. Square Enix didn’t just make another JRPG. They crafted a love letter to the entire genre, one that somehow feels both comfortingly classic and refreshingly modern. The world is pure magic. Vibrant, colorful, and packed with personality, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to talk to every single NPC (and you should for the full immersive experience). From the sleepy starting village to soaring cities, haunted forests, and sun-baked deserts, every new area feels like turning the page of a grand adventure book. The day-night cycle and dynamic weather don’t just look beautiful. They make the world feel alive. You’ll find yourself genuinely excited to see what a town looks like at sunset or during a rainstorm. The battle system is a refined evolution of everything Dragon Quest does best. Turn-based combat is peak in this game: - Character-specific abilities and personality quirks make every party member feel unique - The ability to freely switch between 2D and 3D modes mid-game is genius Combat remains engaging for hours on end, never feeling like it's a bore. Without spoiling anything: this is one of the best-written stories in the series. The cast is exceptional — you’ll laugh with them, worry for them, and grow genuinely attached. The narrative has real emotional weight, clever twists, and one of the most satisfying party journeys in modern RPGs. Yes, it has cliches. But in the midst of RPGs trying too hard to be original, DQXI went back to its roots and showcases what made JRPGs shine. The voice acting is top-tier, with a warmth and charm that’s increasingly rare in big-budget games. So, with all these: - Incredible production values — the graphic (RIP Akira Toriyama) and music is legendary - Massive content — You'll feel full but still wanting for more - Accessibility done right — approachable for newcomers while deep enough for veterans -The Verdict- Dragon Quest XI isn’t just a great game. It’s a healing game. In an industry obsessed with darkness, cynicism, and spectacle, DQ11 chooses sincerity, wonder, and heart; and it makes that choice feels revolutionary. It’s the kind of game that restores your faith in what video games can be. Whether you’re a longtime Dragon Quest fan or someone who’s never touched the series, this is the perfect entry point. This is comfort food and fine dining at the same time. Score: 9.5/10 If you only play one traditional JRPG this decade (or arguably only one in a lifetime), make it Dragon Quest XI. You’ll thank yourself every time that beautiful title screen music hits. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a world to save. ✨

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the greatest RPGs ever made!!
♥♥♥♥ rocks, quintessential jrpg
Something to be occupied before Flames of Fate.
Super fun JRPG with plenty of side content. Probably the best DQ game for newcomers
