GIVE US A REMAKE OR SOMETHING THIS GAME IS DEADDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!
if you fail in creating an account in their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher you get ip banned
In my opinion one of the best MMO's to ever be released. Combat and gameplay were truly revolutionary for its time and still kinda holds up. Global server is basically dead but SEA version is still pretty popular. Its actually a shame to see what they have done with this IP though. Dragon nest 2 for mobile was mostly just slop. And now dragon sword which is set to come out is just a genshin copy. Feel like we could really could have seen one of the best MMO's if they didn't make it gacha but I digress. I recommend this game if you want to experience the nostalgia or want to really sink your time into it. I dont recommend it if you want to pick it up and play casually; you will find yourself bored fast

-"EYEC is short for EYE Credit and supported by the Steam platform." -"the operation team won't help you regarding the exchange type or refund." Those two lines were copied directly from the Dragon Nest "News" page. (https://us.dragonnest.com/news/notice/all/649) EYEC is the only in-game cash shop currency that can be bought through Steam which is completely useless in the shop itself SOMEHOW. There no way to convert EYEC into other currencies as told directly by the devs. I can only laugh at the absurdity of the situation and hope no one else gets scammed. What have you done to my favorite childhood game...
Firstly the good. Although i would not recommend the game in the state it is in today, it was one of the most fun, interactive, and detailed games, the combat system was amazing, and took quite a bit of skill to master, every character was super unique, and each also had 5 additional classes you could go into that were also super unique, character creation wasn't anything to write home about, but customization was very nice, anything you could think of, maid, dragon knight, butler, chef, teddy bear, robot etc, you could probably find a costume to emulate, which brings me to my next point, they quite literally gave away free cash shop money, so even if you were f2p, all you had to do was wait a couple days and you saved up enough to buy anything you'd like. Now the bad. Although the game had so many things going for it, it also had alot working against it, firstly the registration, i don't know when, but it seems like someone at HQ just decided to throw the whole registration process out the window or something, i had a friend try to try the game out but could not get past registration, TONS of bugs and glitching and just a complete overall mess. Now unto the actual game, Due to the vast amount of classes you could be the balance was HORRENDOUS, especially in favor of female characters, they usually had more dmg, bigger skills, better movement etc etc, so much so people flat out refused to fight some characters, and the balance patches were equally bad, they would either nerf a character into the dirt or buff them to the level of a God, sometimes they'd even change the way a skill worked completely, so that was always annoying as well. The story was also pretty lackluster, most of the time your rushing throw it just to get another lvl 99 to use in PVP. So yea...the game had its ups, but now its been on the down for a minute, if they every make a remake or remastered, hopefully it'll be just as good....but seeing how remasters usually end up, unlikely.
unplayable on deck. can't login stuck at caption and even if you enter it the client doesnt recognize you entered anything
IP banned because of their ♥♥♥♥ captcha ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Back in the day where nexon had the game.... it was golden.... now a new company took it... and it's a super dead franchise.... I think it's now 16 times worse on what the did with it... 16 times worse.... just like fallout 76... on it's 16 times the detailed. x'D The company that bought it killed dragon nest and it's never coming back for air.... not by a long shot.... they removed hard difficulty in beginning areas. They can't let you enchaced your gear at the beginning anymore... they tottaly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything... Do not play this game....
"invalid email" even though I just CONFIRMED it with a code, epic. "Check for duplicate email" hahaaa I thought it didn't exist Yippeee
How this games retained it's mostly positive status is beyond me but i always had this particular hatred for the game, obviously of course going into it thinking it was good, i played off the NEXON launcher when the game was hype at the time and everyone was at max level 40, this means i was going into this game during it's peak in early 2012. The korean version of the game on the otherhand was like a time gap of sorts, years into the future, the die hard players were on the korean servers meanwhile someone like me who didn't care enough was stuck on the NA servers, the community was toxic the PvP got progressively worse overtime, the updates NEXON pushed out were too slow, the only memorable thing i did on the game was solo manticore on a horrible potato PC with no graphics card... good times i guess? it's also pretty sad seeing the game in it's current state after i quit now going 10 years later, the fact the game still even receives maintenance or updates is wild. So something, or someone has to be funding the game to keep it going.
