Dragon Fin Soup

Dragon Fin Soup is a gem. Although old and low-spec I could have many hours of fun with it. In this game you can, should, and want to fight dirty to survive. In the lands of the Great Dragon Turtle God, Ashura, survival is of top importance, no matter if you kick bombs in the enemy's face or critically backstab them while your pet taunts them.

Fun game, don't forget to save often!

Just a very unfun generic top down rpg with generic royalty free fairytale/fable tropes. If it wasn't so old I'd even query if the art was AI generated, but its just lacking in personality. Shockingly runs okay on Steam Deck.

This game is not terrible as some of the reviews may have you believe. I think 20 may be steep at this point considering the amount of content but that is my opinion. It is trying to get itself in that rouglike /lite space which it does ok. The graphics are pretty good and slightly cartoony but good. The UI is what it is . Weather or not we have been abandoned it in of itself is not bad now if its unfinished and it came out in 2015 It should be 10 not 19.99 . Its not bad game if any people are up to modding this it could be much better, If you do pick this up get it on a sale.

Si on ne se méprend pas sur le genre, DFS fait très bien son boulot de rogue-like. Recommandé.

Basicamente foi este jogo que me fez migrar para a Steam. Tendo jogado uma versão "não oficial" e toda quebrada, fiquei louco pela história e mecânica desse jogo, dai vim para a plataforma experimentá-lo. E não me arrependi. O design gráfico é muito bonito, as cores são bem fortes e vibrantes, e a mecânica muito agradável pra fãs de RPG com combates por turno. A campanha não é muito curta nem muito longa, tendo a medida certa. Os diferentes tipo de magia e de armamentos possibilitam várias estratégias de combate. Os pets que também participam da luta são um charme a mais. Quanto a trilha sonora, gostei bastante. A música de abertura é muito bacana e gruda na sua mente que nem chiclete. Você vai se deparar cantando a melodia sem sequer perceber. Além do modo campanha, há também outros modos de jogo, do estilo "calabouço infinito", onde você começa desde o início e vão encontrando skills, equipamentos e evoluindo o personagem, com um nível de dificuldade desafiador. Pra quem gosta de um bom RPG no estilo indie rogue style, recomendo esse jogo. Minha experiência, em geral, foi sem dúvidas muito positiva.

Horrible balance. Maybe I got unlucky with the random generation but the 3rd or 4th quest is unplayable. Clumsy controls. Clicking an enemy often moves you around instead of attacking them, which causes you to lose several turns. Always-online. This singleplayer game requires an internet connection and will not start without one, even in offline mode.
