About
Kapital: Sparks of Revolution is a sandbox city-builder focused on crisis management. It is a game about crisis and permanent conflict in human society. You will run out of vital resources in times you need them the most. People will protest and riot despite your best efforts to help them. Not everyone will survive. There is no way to avoid the crisis, you have to live through it.
You’ll have to run a city with limited resources. To balance between people's needs and city development. To deal with angry crowds on the streets. You are the one to shape the future of your people. Just remember - you can't make everyone happy.

The population of your city consists of 3 classes: nobles, bourgeois and workers. Each class has a unique role in the city economy. Nobles serve as officials and policemen, bourgeois pay taxes while workers provide the labor force. Their vision of the future is very different and they are ready to fight for it.

Running the city is not an easy task. Your resources are limited while people’s demands are high. You have to decide who will get food and shelter first. Be prepared to face new threats on a regular basis. Epidemics, accidents, sabotages, hostage situations - the city will fall apart unless you make a difference.

People whose needs go unsatisfied will hold a grudge against your rule. Some of them will become dissidents and radicals. They will form secret societies to overthrow you. Protests on the streets will turn into massacres and riots. You have to make a tough choice of which class to support and which to suppress.

You will research new technologies and adopt new laws to improve the lives of your citizens. You will fight crime, tackle corruption and maintain order on the streets. As a ruler of the city, you have the ultimate power to shape the future of your society. The question is how far will you go to reach that goal?

I like this game conceptually, but as others have said, it's just not particularly fun. The bickering of your advisors and the dialogue in general are brilliant, but the game itself is just... messy. It's a neverending stream of your resources being stolen, trains and production facilities breaking down, and people rioting and burning down the houses of other classes. And the worse off things are, the more often these things happen. No more grain shipments due to a story event that got sprung on you and which requires two in game days to complete? Have fun not producing anything because all of your workers have decided to leave their jobs and firebomb the nobles, bourgeois, or your palace instead! If these events were scattered out more to give the player a breather, they'd probably be fine. But when the game becomes one disaster after another, they stop feeling like a challenge to overcome and just a permanent nuisance. You know how in games like SimCity, if you horribly mismanage your city, it becomes a disaster of constant traffic jams, fires spreading, etc? Well, that's this entire game. There's nothing you can do to fix your city or to avoid these disasters. You spend the entire game slapping bandaids onto problems while new ones spring up faster than you can deal with them, and all the while you're constantly stuck waiting on mobile game-esque timers to get resources, with every other disaster interrupting or outright halting said timers, which renders you unable to deal with those disasters and future ones. It's just a mess. I *want* to like this game. I really do. I think it's conceptually pretty cool - building a city back from ruins while managing delicate class relations and progressing through a linear sort of story. I restarted the game three times trying to finally get a run where I didn't just descend into complete chaos immediately. Last night I got so tired of it I figured I was done with it. This morning, I opened it up again, and it took me an hour to consider uninstalling it again. Again, I *want* to like this game. Maybe I'll try playing it on easy just to see the story through. As is, I can't really recommend this game to anyone unless it's discounted by 80% or more and you're willing to take a gamble on a unique, but extremely frustrating game. My best to the devs, and I sincerely hope their next game performs better.
-kein rotieren möglich -jeden tag kommen ungefragt einwanderer an. man hat überhaupt keine zeit, Gold o.a anzusammeln. weil man ständig neue häuser bauen muss. SCHADE
Like a mobile farm.
please, translate the game into spanish.
This game is pointless, everything you do you always upset everyone no matter what you try to do, and they'll eat and drink to the point of bursting their bellies, not to mention there's people willing to just steal grain, no really just steal every grain because why not. Don't buy this, the devs just abandoned it.
Don't bother with getting this game. its easy to figure out the ratio of buildings to the different classes of people you have in you're city. once you figure it out the game is boring.
