Classic style beat em up! Pretty long and a lot of secrets.
Nostalgia factor played a big role here. I remember playing this kind of games when I was young at the arcades and at home with the NES. Recommended for those who want to relive oldschool arcade beat'em up gameplay with a touch of RPG (you get items and upgrades that help you in the game).

A fun little indie side-scrolling beat ''em up.
good game
There are some nice ideas in Dragon Climax, but the following issues prevented me from continuing playing: -the delayed and sluggish controls; -the floaty jumps, like the characters are underwater; -the unnecessary sex appeal (i shoud have known from the front art); -some other (possibly intentional) roughness and emptyness that should give some charisma to the game, but made feel scammed.
Meeoww 🥳
30 minutos de jogo e já se percebe que é um jogo muito ruim. Movimentação tosca, personagens esquecíveis.... e gameplay completamente entediante... se quiser pegue em promoção, mas não espere muita coisa!
Overview:
Dragon Climax is a fun retro 2D pixel brawler with some lite RPG and character customization elements. If you enjoy arcade classics similar to Kung Fu Master you might enjoy Dragon Climax.
Pros:
+ Multiple playable characters with different fighting styles (Melee and Ranged attacks). + Diverse stage designs around the city. From bars, to slums, military base, etc. + Fun story that fleshes out all the characters and bosses. + Several items to unlock and character customization options to purchase with coins earned through playing.
Cons:
- Not a very long game, a couple of hours of playtime. - Graphics and animations are pretty simple, but they are colorful and vibrant. - Difficulty becomes inconsistent at the end of the game with instant falling deaths. - Some very minor English translation issues.
Summary:
6/10 Overall a good game and I am interested in playing a Dragon Climax 2.
Compatible avec Linux grâce à Proton v9 (pas le Hotfix, ni l'expérimental). Typiquement prévu pour une manette Sega. Remplis exactement sa promesse.
